To those auto-downvoting fans, please stop ruining the Deals.Woot community.
@lll0228: FAB deals, like many other flash sale site deals, are usually downvoted because some people don't want to have to sign up to a site just to make a purchase. I am one of them although I don't downvote them unless they aren't really a deal.
@zippy the pinhead: I don't understand that though. All a person has to do is put in an email address (I guess they could put a 10-minute mail address if they didn't want any email) and create a password. One time thing. After all, people did have to create an account for Amazon and other sites to purchase, right?
I think people just don't know enough about the site, maybe they don't trust it, which is a shame because they have some very cool stuff.
@mtrlgrl: Agreed with you.
And the entitlement mentality is honestly making me sick (especially on a day like today). Want to be frugal? Be resourceful, get a shopping email address and one can sign up to any of these flash sale sites.
Who cares about faux-Black Friday "deals" when one can just get high-end items at these kind of prices EVERYDAY?
@zippy the pinhead: And the same group of people will fight people to get to the non-deals at WalMart? What does that say about these people?
How does this downvoting behavior negatively impact the rest of the community by not letting them see the TRULY amazing deals that flash sale sites offer? While non-sense bacon and truly crap go to the "Top" tab?
