Done, however you could have linked directly to the promotion (http://www.oldspiceshaving.com/promotions/) instead of through another freebie site

sorry about that :(
I'll do better next time.

In for one. Wondering how much spam I'll get

@americahockey: Best to sign up for a free mail account that you don't mind having spam sent to for deals like these.

That being said, nice find, in for one...

Signed up...but saw no mention of a free razor for doing so.

I've used these razors in the past and they didn't do a good job of cutting my coarse facial hair. FWIW, I've used the Gillette and Schick multiple blades free shavers which work better IMHO.

Oh boy, a free razor so I can spend a small fortune on blades! I am much happier with my old-style safety razor and it's inexpensive refill blades. Check out Lifehacker, they have a great article on the subject.

If you would post a deal on a safety razor that would be great. Ive looked and have only found ones that are $30-40. For that initial price I don't think its worth it. (I use electric anyways currently) But if you could find us a deal, it would be much appreciated.

A free razor is a free razor. Find a deal on a free safety razor, I'll give it a shot. Until then, I'll snag one of these and see how it goes...

there is no mention of a free razor on that form; apparently it just signs you up to their mailing list.

To bring this to everyone's attention. Read the fine print on the page.
"We request your permission to send you free product samples..."

Quick Question: Who actually makes this razor?

I know this deal, while saying it's for the razor, is actually a signup for a mailing list. I was just curious.

On top, if you don't want to buy the replacement blades, use it as a cheap disposable. You're getting the razor for free anyway.

I use a Shick injector type razor, also for the inexpensive blades. I will try this and maybe change.

@grimm1: I agree -- no mention of a free razor -- but it does say at the bottom that they will send you free trial version items. Maybe the razor is what they're currently sending

vote-for1vote-against

signed up. didn't see anything about a free razor but I'm signed up!

I'm having it sent to my dorm room, so the next one who lives here can deal with their "promotional offers" after I'm gone. :)

I have actually bought these at Family Dollar and the razor came with shaving cream too, but, I have never been able to find refills for them.
The razor is a very good razor, I have a fairly coarse beard that I have to shave everyday to keep from having that scruffy look and these razors will last for about 10 days of shaving everyday.
I'm in for 2 cause I use my work address and my bosses name never checks his email, I do. lol.

@americahockey: That's what your junk address is for...

Ultra-thrifty consumer advocate Clark Howard noted a few months ago on his show that it takes him six months to go through a cheap, disposable razor. Why? Because the secret to maintaining them is to thoroughly dry them after each use. What dulls the razor's edge quickly is not the shaving, but letting moisture corrode the surface coating that protects the blade, and then eating into the metal and causing microscopic pits.

Another method that I recently saw on Lifehacker was to place the blade in a container of mineral oil. The oil will displace any water, keeping the blades protected.

My father swore by the mystical "power of the pyramid" - he had a small plastic pyramid shaped bird feeder with one side open, and he put his razor in there. He swore it made his blade stay sharp twice as long. I tried putting my lottery tickets in there, but all I got was a really bad paper cut...
