Okay, I was quite the skeptic, but figured that simply for a LED flashlight that didn't take those stupid 3 AAA batteries that this would be worth it.

Well, it's back to half of again and so i'm buying my second. The light is amazingly bright and takes just ONE AA battery.

The focus is just a push / pull thing so it won't hold its focus but that was no issues for me. Also, it's nifty, when focused as narrow as possible, you get a crisp image of the LED chip (a little square).

Wait a second, so it can be focused from flood to spot, but it won't hold the position?

I have several of these lights,great flash to have. Very small,only one battery and the clip on the side is very handy. Suggest this is a great light for a woman, it does not weigh much & could clip onto a purse or carried when jogging and the lens has those sharp edges which could, in an emergency, be used for self defense.Also with this light focused at it narrowest beam you could blind someone for several seconds.

This is a really nice light. I use it at work as a back up and find myself using it a lot instead of my larger light. If you are looking for a good value and the convenience of a AA battery with a brighter light than you would expect this is the light for you. Yes, the focus is a little weird for the beam size, but well worth it considering the price.
