The nose has a classic Sauvignon Blanc profile of grapefruit and nectarine, but also shows a pretty floral note, like jasmine, as well as just a little bit of grassiness. The wine sees about 10 percent barrel fermentation, which gives it a whisper of creaminess on the palate. It's perfectly delicious right now, the fruit ripe and abundant, but never cloying. The nectarine and grapefruit, along with the roundness that age contributes, had an astounding plushness on the palate.
