Sony really needs to make a larger version. The TV is great, but it is too small unless you plan to sit at it like a computer monitor.

Would probably be in for one if I had the scratch. I'm not a fan of the whole 3D TV thing at all, but a 24" TV would fit nicely in my bedroom. Could take my PS3 out of the living room if I so desired.

@thedogma: 3D video games are pretty cool and are generally more worthwhile than TV or movies in 3D. The depth gives games a neat aspect and actually makes a lot of games more fun.

Also, the 3D is a little different on a TV than in a theatre. I like it on my TV, but am not a big fan of it in theatres.

@wnyx585am: Fair enough. I definitely wouldn't write it off, it's just kind of gimmicky in my opinion. I had, honestly, always assumed it was pretty similar to 3D in theaters. I guess I'll have to try the demo 3D-TV next time I'm at a BJ's, see if my opinion changes

Ive been considering getting this for a while. I do most of my gaming on a 23" monitor on my desk (including console gaming) and I think this would be great. I tried it at Gamestop a week or so back and they double display for multiplayer is a great feature.

I originally got one of these at Bestbuy for this price on December 23 and it died on Jan 12, so I exchanged it at no charge to me. The replacement I got on Jan 12 died on Feb 18th so I could not return it to Bestbuy again and am in the process of sending it into Sony for repairs under their one year warranty. I used it a few hours a day and did not keep it in an enclosed area so I still have no idea what killed them.

I really like this display and recommend it at this price point, but I also suggest you buy the one year warranty from Bestbuy so you can just exchange it if something happens and don't get stuck waiting weeks to deal get repairs from Sony.

This thread explains the issues with the display, but I do think it is a great desktop gaming display when it works.
