On the other hand, this is probably a lot more accurate than throwing it by hand :P

I've got a Remington which wasn't too expensive when I got it maybe 5 years ago at Sports Authority. And its velocity is 755 fps. It came with safety glasses, some paper targets, some sample BB's and pellets, and a crappy scope, and I think the total was like $50. Also, it's a BB repeater/pellet single shot, so you have options.

Duh. Its a bb gun. 300 fps is fine. Especially if you are getting it for kids. A bb gun at 1,200 fps is still Jumbo Shrimp.

@rickc66: Thats the one! Man, $90 seems steep. I didn't pay anywhere near that. Maybe I got it on sale, I don't know.

But yeah, I would never use mine for "backyard war games". 755 fps wouldn't make for very fun "games" =P. More like shooting chipmunks =O
