I returned a malfunctioning TF300 and jumped on this deal on Saturday. You're basically getting the keyboard (over $100) for free. And the TF101 is rock solid. Not plagued by issues like the newer, "higher-end" models. I bought this one for my gf, as I have one already! (I won't be telling her it came with the dock....)

@autocrosser: Thanks so much for the +feedback. Naturally, I searched for reviews but it was really good to get one from a fellow Wooter user. Best, Dr. J

The dock and HDMI out make this thing COMPLETELY worth it. My brother got one when they came out and he uses it to type papers, watch netflix and darn near everything else. I purchased a netbook because it was about half the price and I'm in for one because of how much more useful this machine is. If you look it up, you can play multiplayer N64 games on the TV with a group of friends with smart phones. It really is the ultimate tabtop device (can I coin that term here?)

Yeah, I can't believe it but I'm actually considering the 32gb version - mine's the 16, and I use it EVERY. FREAKING. DAY.

Had the TF101 and got a TF300T. Love both and this is an excellent deal for the tablet and keyboard. Just keep in mind the newer Tegra 3 games do not run as nice on the TF101. Bards Tale, Riptide, NFS, Batman and Amazing Spiderman are slow. I'm also not sure if this will be upgraded to Jellybean or not. If you get this with the doc you do not need to root or anything to be able to use a PS3 controller. The doc comes with an extra micro SD slot, 5 hours of extra battery time and a USB port. Once you connect the PS3 controller via USB on the dock you can unhook the cable and use as a "wireless" blutooth device. Kinda cool.

Thanks to all of you who left comments. Please LMK what security software you are using on this Asus.

@drj48: Security software? Like, antivirus? Or more "keep your stinkin' hands off my tablet" stuff?

@rrussell: Thanks for the clarification; antivirus & firewall please. On "keep your stinkin' hands off my tablet", I already invested in a hammer or, if the threat is 6' 6' 260 lbs++ I think I will use a S&W!! Best, Dr.J

@drj48: Heya. I use neither. Never had a second's trouble, FWIW.

For antivirus I use Lookout on all of my Android products. Free in the Play store.

@autocrosser: Thanks for your recommendation. I am using Lookout as per your and the other recommendations received. Also I downloaded Avast and there has been NO coexistence problem. Best, Dr. J

@drj48 @autocrosser: Do you find much of a performance hit with those running all the time?
