Experience sharp picture quality, even when you are watching fast-moving images like sports or action movies. Clear motion rate was developed to accurately measure how well an LCD or LED TV can depict fast-moving images. Previously, motion-clarity was calculated by the frame refresh rate alone. But CMR offers a more complete measure by calculating 3 factors: frame refresh rate, image processor speed and backlight technology. A CMR of 240 - 480 takes motion-clarity to the next level. LED TVs with this CMR can display action-packed movement with even sharper detail and deeper levels of contrast while eliminating image distortion.
Pretty good deal but if you're looking for a "slim" tv this ones coming in at almost 4" thick. Which is tube tv for most led/lcd panels and even pretty big compared to most new plasmas. Still gave it a +1 cause if I was shopping for a new mancave tv I'd be all over this one!
@sixdolla: I noticed the 4" thing, too, but figured it was a relative non-issue for someone looking for biggest screen for lowest price. Thank you for pointing it out; I should have mentioned it myself.
[chuckle] How far we've come, when a thickness of 4" in a TV is a point of concern. We are soooo tech-spoiled!
I own this TV, it's incredible. The reason for the thickness is to eliminate some of the issues with the LED backlighting. This TV has a full-array LED backlight, which benefits from the additional thickness of the case.
No Fryes near by! what do I do!
Coming up as 1549 for me...
@mkeushgu: Same here.... Has this expired already, say it ain't so!
yeah whats up with that? is it really over? i mean amazon has it for like 1000bucks but still I think we all want the price listed on this page LOL
Sorry, everybody. There wasn't any indication that it was a short-term or expiring sale, but it definitely seems dead, all right.
