Hmm. All those little letters - looks like just the sort of thing someone might be trying to read while they accidentally plow into someone on a motorcycle...
@primadogga: i concur :)
I always think of these bumper stickers when I see idiots on rice rockets illegally zipping through traffic at dangerous speeds as they cut off multiple cars.
@kmeltzer: Its not safe to ride a bike alongside other vehicles.
I owe my longevity to getting in front of traffic where I can watch them from a safe distance....in my mirror.
@kmeltzer: They're the ones that ruin it for the rest of us. I have a cruiser and mostly go the speed of traffic. There's been several times where I'm just cruisin' in my own lane people have nearly run me off the road. I honk every time but 9 times out of 10 they keep on coming and I have to either stomp on the brake or accelerate like a bat out of hell. I'm usually conscious about staying out of blind spots, but that doesn't seem to help much.
Yeah, the reason we have to be extra weary of motorcycles is because more times than not the less vehicular protection one has the more dangerously they operate their vehicle. I live in the Boston-Cambridge-Somerville area and the people on bicycles are the worst, disobeying any and all laws. I am being general and I know their are responsible motorcycle and bicycle operators but I feel like more than half of both of them are just plain dumb.
My father died last week in a motorcycle accident because someone wasn't paying attention. I don't wish how I feel on anyone. Get a sticker for everyone you know.
@hairlyn: sorry for your loss
I saw people who fit into a generalized group doing something i disagree with a couple of times.
This allows me to state an uninformed, ignorant opinion as if it's fact on the internet.
Yeah, the reason we have to be extra weary [sic] of motorists in cars is because more times than not the more vehicular protection one has the less they pay attention, the more they text while driving and the worse they have their blind-spot mirrors adjusted. I live in the blah blah blah area and the people in german luxury vehicles are the worst, disobeying any and all laws. I am being general and I know their are responsible car and truck operators but I feel like more than half of both of them are just plain dumb.
@hairlyn: So sorry for your loss. Best wishes for your whole family.
@hairlyn: so sorry for your loss! my last husband rides and was in a very bad accident last year...so I can really imagine what you might be giong through because I came so close to losing him...
@hairlyn: I'm so, so sorry. My best wishes to your family too. Hang in there...
Every biker has a story like that, or many of them. The lucky ones get to tell the tale.
I see many sports car drivers who think the commute is a nascar event. Doesn't stop me from driving/riding safely.
@okiestache: as a motorcyclist, i disagree with this statement. volvos, hybrids and middle aged guys in small pickups are the worst/most unpredictable ;)
