Deep ruby. Aromas of ripe black currant, dark cherry, and lilac interlace with black pepper, bay leaves, coffee, and toasted oak to create a rich, dense nose. Powerful, rich, and textured notes of dark cherry, ripe plum, caramel, and vanilla flavors weave an intense, voluminous mouthfeel accented by hints of anise and mocha. The back palate is rounded out by a lengthy yet smooth finish of vibrant sweet oak, tobacco leaves, and black olives.

Blend: 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 1% Malbec

Shipping is not cheap! $10.95 per order plus $1.50/btl. Most deal-of-the-day wine websites give a break on shipping....

@matthewnathanson: At this price, getting five bottles would be a pretty good idea, then you get free shipping. And it will be shipped at Wine.com's speed, super fast.

If you have shipped wine yourself, you'd notice that it's really expensive to do so. That's why. You are saving $13 PER BOTTLE here, and that's comparing to Trader Joe's prices, you know? Just getting two bottles you will come up way on top.
