@thebopster I guess your email and mine must have been different? The one I got mentioned "auto-reload" at least once for the credit, not just reloading...

@the18thtee84: Yeah, I got the email that mentioned auto-reload. Just did a regular reload for 25 and didn't get the credit.

@radbeets: The bonus will be added during the week of February 4, 2012. As stated in the terms.

Similar deal last year. I reloaded and I'm still waiting for the $5 to appear.

Here are the "terms" you need to abide by to receive the credit:

1. Use a "Visa" card.
2. Reload a card you have "registered" with your Starbucks account.
3. Reload has to be a minimum of $25 dollars.
4. Reload must be on or before January 31st, 2012.
5. Extra $5 will not show up until the week of Feb 4th 2012.
6. Only one card per account.

Starbucks should thank the Woot community for explaining this, they can afford it. :)

@dcmaker: It's the same as in my description.

vote-for5vote-against

@dcmaker I got a rewards email this morning. thebopster posted it before I was able to write something up though, so I figured I would help out by laying the "terms" out in an easy format. Cheers!

@thebopster: Sorry, I didn't think I'd get a down vote for trying to help :(

vote-for-1vote-against

@jgskeate: Who says I down voted your comment? However, I didn't think I'd get a down vote for stating that the obvious info is in the description.

trying to establish the legitimacy ^^ and find out how you guy's hear about this. I don't trust people ^^

@dwkunz: It's possible this is a targeted email. It may only work for those who received the email.

For what it's worth, I already have my card set to auto-reload, and I haven't received this email.

Do you guys think it will work if I use my paypal account? If there is a visa card linked to it? Im always paranoid about online transactions so I always use paypal =P

vote-for1vote-against

@queesy You don't have to save your card info in the Starbucks checkout area (there are preference boxes that are automatically checked at first). I think that if you shoot them an email with that question they would be able to answer it within the next few days. Here's a link to the "Starbucks Card" customer service form:

http://www.starbucks.com/customer-service/contact/starbucks-card-form

I'm starting to think I should be hired by Starbucks to answer these questions and do online promotional answering for them.

does this mean we won't see the extra $5 until feb 4? so if there's some sort of glitch we won't know until then? hmm....

vote-for3vote-against

This deal is just too murky. Pass.

Just reloaded, we'll see if I get it.
