Get a $5 bonus on your Starbucks card: "Use your Visa card to reload your Starbucks Card with $25 or more, and we'll add an extra $5 to your Starbucks Card account. To be eligible for the $5 offer, you must reload your Starbucks Card with a minimum of $25 on www.Starbucks.com/Card by January 31, 2012. Only one $5 bonus per account allowed. Bonus will be applied to reloaded card during the week of February 4, 2012. Offer valid through January 31, 2012."

@thebopster I guess your email and mine must have been different? The one I got mentioned "auto-reload" at least once for the credit, not just reloading...

@the18thtee84: Yeah, I got the email that mentioned auto-reload. Just did a regular reload for 25 and didn't get the credit.

Here are the "terms" you need to abide by to receive the credit:

1. Use a "Visa" card.
2. Reload a card you have "registered" with your Starbucks account.
3. Reload has to be a minimum of $25 dollars.
4. Reload must be on or before January 31st, 2012.
5. Extra $5 will not show up until the week of Feb 4th 2012.
6. Only one card per account.

Starbucks should thank the Woot community for explaining this, they can afford it. :)

For what it's worth, I already have my card set to auto-reload, and I haven't received this email.

Do you guys think it will work if I use my paypal account? If there is a visa card linked to it? Im always paranoid about online transactions so I always use paypal =P

@queesy You don't have to save your card info in the Starbucks checkout area (there are preference boxes that are automatically checked at first). I think that if you shoot them an email with that question they would be able to answer it within the next few days. Here's a link to the "Starbucks Card" customer service form:

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
