It does not look like it supports DD-WRT.

Avoid the headace and avoid this router. Convoluted menu system (Fisher priced as hell), firmware that breaks the router's ports and features, fan that dies a month in. Over all poor router for the price. WD should stick to HDs

Not sure what you're going on about :/ The router is fine, the latest firmware fixes any signal loss you may see from out-of-the-box performance. The interface, while not the most intuitive thing ever, is far from the worst I've ever seen, the biggest pain is that you have to click 'Additional Features' to get into the Advance Settings menu. I've currently got my main computer running on the 5Ghz connection and several of our older devices running on the 2.4. Overall, we have 17 devices running on this router at once and we've yet to have to reset it in over 4 months now. Our only complaint is that the range is a bit stifled compared to our old Netgear. At about 30 feet, we're having issues keeping a 'Good' signal rating, but we very rarely get a full drop from the network. That said, our old Netgear could barely handle 5 devices on the network, let alone 17 so I'd rather have an occasional slow down instead of a crashed router.
