Will these work with windows 7 if I run them in XP mode??? I loved these games as kids when I played them with my dad (who recently passed away so I would really love to play them) and enjoyed them!

I don't know for sure, but I'd bet if you have any problems if would be with the graphics. I'd bet there's a forum somewhere. Do a google on kings quest and see. I'd bet they'd work, and it's only $10

If anyone is curious (and a huge KQ fan like me) you can score KQ I, II, and III from ADG interactive completely redone and made freaking BEAUTIFUL from them totally free. They put of LOT of YEARS of love into the remakes, complete with updated graphics, a more friendly point and click interface (rather than typed) and voice acting.

You can DL them here:

http://www.agdinteractive.com/games/games.html

but you should totally buy this deal as well imo!

This is a redone version meant to work with Windows XP, not with 95 or 98, so it is not an old DOS version. It should work in Vista/Win7 machines as well.

Oh man. Im so tempted to buy. I have some very fond memories of Kings Quest V.

I'm not regal enough for King's Quest, I'll stick with Peasant's Quest: http://www.homestarrunner.com/disk4of12.html

Ah yes, Kings Quest V. The first game I played on my new 286 12.5 Mhz PC with a CD-ROM drive. Actual talking and enhanced animations in the game. It was state of the art. We have seen many remakes but the only ones that would make me hand over money AND allocate time towards would be Space Quest. Love me some Roger Wilco!

Great games, great price. Hope that Telltale Games doesn't mess up the reboot.
