When an asteroid crashed into Earth, you thought you were one of the lucky ones. Deemed critical for humanity's survival and blasted into space before impact, you suddenly awake back on Earth. The only thing that's certain is that the world you left is gone. This unnerving FPS from the makers of Quake and Doom sends you into a vast wasteland. Battle mutants, fight off scavenger gangs, and do your best to evade the Authority, the government regime that really wants to find you. Eerie clues lurk in the environment, enough to tell you that something really messed up happened here. Try and survive long enough to find out what it was.
@slurpy: most if not all of the bugs have been worked out by now. And by that logic every major game such as Borderlands, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Oblivion, Skyrim would be considered terrible because the were incredibly buggy when they were released.

Being smarter than I was last July, I wouldn't pay $10 for it now, let alone the $60 that I did for the pre-order. Talk about a rude awakening. . .
Rage is like a smaller version of Borderlands, except instead of a story you just get John Goodman telling you to kill a bunch of people he doesn't like.
I personally believe this was the best shooter of 2011.
An absolute steal at this price. Greta game!
