Mmmmm, I might need to go get me a Chocolate Chip waffle. I didn't know the wonders of Waffle House until this past August, they've not quite made it to Oregon yet. They usually look run down, but I've never been disappointed with the food.

I always get a sausage egg and hash browns type dish, and if a waffle is included, I almost never eat it. Is that so wrong? Should I post a deal saying free waffles all the time, whenever I go to IHOP or waffle house? Or Denny's? You can has it? but YMMV? YDRYMMV.

I've never been to a Waffle House myself, but ever story i have heard about one involves poop so I've never really been tempted to try. Plus they always look so worn down and the ones around me are not usually in the best neighborhoods. But for a free waffle, I may have to try them out.

Now I wonder if there is one near me. We used to go to them on vacation - in other towns because there weren't any close. Sometimes they are good (as much as a chain diner-type place can be), and sometimes they are bad. In grad school we had a nickname for the one near camps - Awful House. but in general they are good. And free is usually good, right??

Always up for some awful waffle. Just built a new one in this area that opened up 2 days ago so at least I know this one is clean.

A waffle. A plate, fork, syrup and a drink are extra. Enjoy!

I love Waffle House. The lady who owned about a dozen of them in SW Ohio used to dedicate whole day of the store's sales to the local Audubon center if you told the staff you wanted that done. Hell, I just went for the coffee and waffles!
