Anyone know the rotation speed of the drives inside (7200 RPM, 5400 RPM, etc.)?

When Seagate has problems building a drive over 1 TB that's reliable (or even under 1 TB in some cases), why would I throw my money away on a 3 TB model? As attractive as the pricing may be . . ..

@romeojn: I think you're referring to the 7200.11 line of 1TB that saw failure rates as high as 30+%. They found it was microcode and have a fix as well as offered data recovery service. The drive failure doesn't affect data, it just prevents it from being detected.

These may be better than previous seagate drives but after personally going through 6 drives and horrible customer service I will never purchase another seagate product...

I was interested in this drive but the enclosure is horrible from what I read. It's cool that you can buy the attachments to change the connection type though. The bad thing is that the case doesn't have a fan inside, so it gets very hot. I read that some people were just buying it to rip the drive out and use.

so this is a single 3tb drive? or two 1.5tb?? can't tell from site.

Everything I've read on Newegg seems to show that this is a single 3 TB drive. Wow how did they get it at 7200?
