I saw this, and all I could think of was a scene from Supernatural S05E04. In a time jump, some people are living in something of a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and a person from the past has ended up there. Before going back to the past, another person tells him this: "Some free advice. You ever get back there, you hoard toilet paper. You understand me? Hoard it. Hoard it like it's made of gold. Because it is."

When you put this in your cart it also gives you a $5 off coupon. Add a case of paper towels and get the free shipping as well.

@kamikazeken: Yup. Kids swear there's a difference in the amount on the rolls with the Walmart Ultra rolls feeling heavier & thicker.

@lavikinga: walmart also owns the "white cloud" line of TP, and consumer reports rated that one best quality, best price.

@luvche21: You don't read too well, huh? That's okay. Those are the paper towels.

Life is too short. Go 3-ply.

I like Angel Soft toilet paper. I never bought it through Staples, so I don't know if it exactly the same, but the one I buy is also septic-safe.

Note this about all toilet paper: the width is getting narrower and narrower. Keep that in mind when you are looking for deals. Don't just compare sheets per roll. It's like when coffee used to be sold in one-pound bags, and now it is 11 oz.

I don't know if I'd go for any toilet paper that says SPARKLE really big on the packaging...

I never thought I'd ever be reviewing toilet paper, but lately for the amount of paper my family goes through we've found one of the best is Walmart's Great Value Ultra Strong Toilet Tissue. Strong and absorbent, yet soft and much less expensive. Consumer Reports gave it a very high review as well.

@fit410s: thanks! Sine the used cost more I got that one. I figured it would have to be better based on price.

IMO the best deal is to buy a cheap bidet on amazon

http://www.amazon.com/Luxe-MB110-Non-Electric-Mechanical-Attachment/dp/B001KKRCFA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1349155757&sr=8-3&keywords=bidet

and spray that fish eye with water real good. Gets you much cleaner then any paper can.

you will use much less paper and it will pay for its self in a short time, then its all savings for years to come

just my 2 cents

I guess it's a decent deal, but not a great deal. I picked up Charmin ultra-soft rolls at CVS for 50 cents each last week, and I didn't even think that was a great deal even though it's far better quality than this stuff. And more quantity too.

$5 instant savings helps a bit. I'd go for this if it were maybe 25 cents per roll. That's an acceptable bargain-hunter's price for average-quality TP.
