Question: I'm not a cable expert so am curious, is the Monster brand more than just an expensive name or is there better quality to their stuff?

However, my qualm is how despicable of a company they are.

Avoid monster, because they're overpriced and despicable as @narfcake said.

Thanks guys. I always figured they were just falling under a "name brand" scheme and weren't all they made themselves up to be. Not to mention my relief they finally settled the cables vs. mini-golf debate...I was starting to sweat
