Was actually there on Saturday after 4PM. Buzz Club members got their discount then. Had about $80+ in my cart and walked out paying only $45. When I looked at my receipt which was like TP, I realized that the system gave me 20% off and then another 20% off of that on every item. Cool!!!

@bigray57 - you may have gotten the 2nd 20% off because you had amassed 10 purchases of $20 or more. once you do that, you qualify for 20% your next purchase w/in the next 60 days.

@annwat: Indeed I do have an additional 20% off certificate, but the computer does NOT allow a second discount. I made certain to let the cashier know that I did NOT want to use it. I did check my account and I still have the certificate which needs to be used before April 25th. As I was leaving I saw others with very long receipts and a woman looking very carefully at her receipt. This was NOT the first time this happen on F&F discount day to me.

Some items in the store are 20% off as well. my sister works at Big Lots, and it's why you may have gotten more of a discount. it will give 20% off on top of what's on sale, however, I tried to purchase a $199 kitchen cart and said coupon did not qualify for it. Couldn't really purchase much of anything but some trinket crap.

No need to print the coupons at my store they had huge signs and stack of coupons.

Was also very busy.

BL is a good place to buy cooking supplies such as spices (ground cinnamon is ground cinnamon). Also got good deals on Pure Vanilla extracts, Bob's Red Mill Flours/Baking Mixes, etc there before.

In the last year I've found mini-blinds for odd size window, good heavy duty loaf pans, gluten-free flour, and cleaning supplies all at great prices.

If you have time to shop around you can usually find good bargains there.
