I have a similar model (ASUS VH236H) which I use daily. The monitor is very nice. The speakers sound is "meh" but they have a lot of convenience for when you are on the go and don't want to pack speakers. The only gripe I have is that the menu is difficult to navigate especially because that is where the volume control is located.

I have this model and I am very happy with it. Paid $175 on Amazon (before $20 rebate).
