vote-for4vote-against

No staples near me and is store pick up only : (
Which makes sense considering how heavy it would be.
Just a bummer I can't get free paper.

Great deal for those near a Staples !!

vote-for4vote-against

Where can I find the rebate info?

vote-for11vote-against

@conanthelibrarian: When you check out they print it out with the receipt

vote-for4vote-against

Click on the picture of the barcode

vote-for3vote-against

You pay up front and get back your money via Easy Rebate correct?

vote-for6vote-against

Check your email if you're on Staples' mailing list. I had a coupon in there for 25% back in rewards today any tomorrow. I gave both to the cashier. I'm not sure if I'll actually get the rewards, but if I do, I'll make about $4 per box of paper, after sales tax. Great deal on a box of paper for my kid's school.

vote-for4vote-against

i printed out the barcode page and it says "free after easy rebate and with coupon". anyone happen to know if there is a coupon that i need to find too or, the printout is all that is needed?

vote-for1vote-against

I must be blind, but I don't see this barcode page people are talking about.

vote-for3vote-against

@lucennox: At the top of this page, you will see a picture of a bar code (just right of center), click that. It will send you to another page that has the coupon/bar code on it and is printable.

vote-for9vote-against

The coupon for the case of paper is here, along with the coupon for 25% back in rewards:
http://www.staples.com/coupons
You'll pay $28.99 plus tax for the case of paper, then get a Staples Easy Rebate for $28.99. You'll probably also get $7.25 in Staples Rewards next month.

vote-for1vote-against

Oh, I was looking on the staples page. Thanks.

vote-for3vote-against

So is the rebate instant or do you have to send it off? If you send it off do you get a check or a gift card?

vote-for-3vote-against

@ceagee: Same here. I don't want to drive a hundred something miles for a ream of paper. Makes no sense that they won't set up shop in St Louis, but they're perfectly willing to do small towns like Columbia, Missouri, or Quincy, Illinois

vote-for-4vote-against

Staples denied points on my card after I turned 5 ink cartridges and another problem later on. I threw my card in the trash and dont shop there anymore. Store is 10 minutes away. I bet this rebate will take months to receive if ever. Pass for me. Tried of asking for my rewards..

vote-for11vote-against

Just went to my local staples to see how this worked. Paper was regular $49.99. Coupon took $21.99 off, then using rewards number gave another $5 off - total before tax = $23.00. Went online and filled out easy-rebate form, rebate coming in the amount of $28 on a pre-paid Visa card. It was worth the trip for sure.

(Another thing-associate there told me any rebates under $10 can be transferred to PayPal account)

vote-for3vote-against

@ddfossett: I'm curious... where did you get the coupon that took off the $21.99? Or was it the same bar code too? I don't have a staples card, but for this deal, I may get one. My kids school would LOVE to know how to get the parents to get this deal so they can get the paper donated.

vote-for5vote-against

Same deal as last spring took about 4 weeks for the rebate card to come in.

vote-for4vote-against

Good deal for sure, but a lot more work than stealing paper from my work!

vote-for3vote-against

Thanks for posting this paper deal on Staples:)

vote-for5vote-against

worked like a charm, came home and did the easy rebate and was done in 4 minutes. nice

vote-for5vote-against

@game4magic: rebates typically arrive after 3-4 weeks for me. They probably stopped your ink recycling rewards because they changed the terms of the program. You now have to purchase $30 in ink every 180 days to qualify for the program. Totally worth it for me to be able to recycle $40 per month in carts. I buy all our tp, paper towels, cleaning supplies, Tide detergent, Downey softener, paper paltes, cups, napkins, etc at staples. also have picked up 3 kindle fires using rewards. Throw that in with the 25% back in rewards on this free case, and I'll be picking up one case on each of my 3 staples rewards accounts and donating to my kids' school.

vote-for4vote-against

is the barcode for the rebate the same barcode as the coupon to knock the price down? or is that a separate coupon? if so where is it?

vote-for3vote-against

I got the email from Staples yesterday. My code number is different. Since it's one per customer has anyone had a problem with Staples saying the coupon has already been used?

vote-for-1vote-against

Closest staples is hours away from me. =(

vote-for5vote-against

@meckmeck: "Wow. I almost can't believe that this is real
Here's link to item: http://www.staples.com/Staples-Multipurpose-Paper-8-1-2-inch-x-11-inch-Case/product_513096";

Looks like the content of messages in my junk-mail folder.

vote-for3vote-against

@chypher: printed it yesterday, used it today without issue.

vote-for-3vote-against

Not free by my definition - but as good as free:
I paid $28 + tax after the printed coupon was worth $21.99 off the case of paper at the register.
A rebate form is printed at the point of purchase, you can redeem via USPS or online.
You do not get $28 back, you get a $28 Visa® Prepaid Card.

vote-for2vote-against

Agree with @johnhamilton. Same thing he said. A box full of paper after rebate is $3.

vote-for4vote-against

there is an option at the staples rebate website to select a check in the mail instead of the visa card

vote-for2vote-against

I couldn't believe this deal either, nor could the cashier at Staples. Up to two boxes per household. You get a prepaid VISA card. The only thing they don't reimburse is the sales tax. $1.68 for a case of paper is a great deal. Thanks deals.woot !!

vote-for6vote-against

Good find. I bought the paper yesterday. Paper was marked at $50. Coupon took off $22, leaving $28 + $1.75 tax, which I paid. They printed me a "Rebate Redemption Form".

I was somewhat dreading the rebate process, but since Staples' motto is "Easy", I guess they couldn't make it too painful. In fact, it was the easiest rebate I've ever done. I went to their website, searched for "rebate", entered two numbers from the Rebate Redemption Form (it can show you exactly where the numbers are), and my name and address. Now supposedly they'll send me the $28 in the form of a prepaid Visa card. It didn't even cost me a stamp.

Now if only I could figure out how to avoid the $1.75 tax. And death. Those two I still haven't solved.

vote-for2vote-against

You avoid the sales tax by living in Oregon. Oh wait, I DO live in Oregon! I just might have to go check this out tomorrow. We could use some paper, and I know my daughters school could so I might get both boxes.

vote-for1vote-against

Has anyone gotten two cases with this deal? The coupon seems to indicate that it is limit 1 per customer.

vote-for3vote-against

@bowlingb: The coupon is one per customer, but the rebate says you can have two per household. So if I buy one, and my wife buys one, we will have lots of paper. For us, one box is plenty.

vote-for2vote-against

This worked perfectly for me. I was even able to reserve (for free!) a case at my local Staples by going to the product page on their website. They had it ready for me at the front when I walked in a couple hours later. Can't get much easier than that!

vote-for2vote-against

got mine yeasterday. Paid $30, and got a $30 rebate to fill out. I generally avoid these, but the few times I've done them from Staples, I have actually gotten the money.

vote-for1vote-against

@ratbert2k, fine print says "Each item purchased can only be discounted by one coupon, applied by cashier in order received and prior to tax. ... No cash/credit back. "

vote-for2vote-against

Great deal! Paper is here, coupon worked and the rebate is submitted. Thanks for this one!

vote-for2vote-against

Still going strong. The cost was $28 before tax and the rebate online is $28... so all you pay is tax, for me $1.96... pretty awesome price for a case. Thanks!

vote-for3vote-against

Most remarkable experience. Went to Staples. They had the paper in stock! The rebate works!!! We'll worry about saving the trees later - - - free paper!!!!

vote-for1vote-against

Even if you don't need this yourself, consider getting one and then donate it to your local school. They always need paper.

vote-for1vote-against

I'm a teacher and my school JUST ran out of paper today. Believe I'm hitting up every Staples around for a box. Nothing worse than needing a class set of worksheets and not being able to print them.

vote-for1vote-against

Got mine today. It's the last day for this rebate! I just love free stuff!
