Finished this last night. I thought the story was good, but the writing was just okay. Some of the female inner monologue was painful to read.

Semi-spoiler: It ends with a sequel in mind, but one has not been written. I knew that an read it anyway. That said, it won't be enough for me to read the next one.

This has been free for a while. I downloaded it a week and a half ago, but haven't had time to read it yet. Someone posted a deal for this book, free for kindle, and in the comments, someone else shared the link for free for Nook too.
