I totally disagree -- there are a ton of great albums from amazing artists:

-Trampled By Turtles -- like Mumford and Sons on speed
-Rodrigo y Gabriela -- About as metal flamenco can get
-Amos Lee -- what a voice.
-Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings -- seriously, what a voice! The best among the soul-revival groups
-The Tallest Man on Earth -- one-man folk often compared to very early Dylan, sung with intensity.
-Beach House -- one of my favorite albums this p-ast decade. Ethereal post-pop with melodies I wish I thought of.
-Shearwater -- another group of folksters with a unique and dramatic lead vocal
-Descendents (Milo Goes to College) -- duh.
-Lorax soundtrack -- j/k.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
