Great deal, bought two! Everything seems legit and payment was quick and painless. Free Shipping!

I just picked up a pair. Five dollars is a great deal for these, but they break easily so I would recommend picking on a pair.

i bought two. not a bad deal. worst comes to worst they will make some nice gifts.

I will never buy skull candy headphones again, I have had maybe 5 pairs (always on the cheaper side at local stores) and you get what you pay for. The left headphone WILL DIE after a couple months at most.

I don't comment here often, but trust me. These will die. and you will say "why didn't I listen to ramones13!?!?!"

@ramones13: Don't comment often = never have commented before? It's okay. Skullcandy makes decent stuff. Not top of the line, but not horrible.

Skullcandy does make very cheap products, but because of the cheapness they have a lifetime warranty. If you're really pissed that your $5 headphones short out, you can mail them in and they'll replace them.

I've mailed FMJs in twice over a period of 5 years and I've had no problems, only takes a few weeks. But when it comes to $5 headphones, I tend to just buy another set.

It just seems that these only have a 90 day warranty though. Odd that if skullcandy makes both they wouldnt give these the lifetime warranty.

these are NOT skull candys! look on the skullcandy website, you wont find anything like these. i LOVE my skullcandys. i always lose my ear buds though.

^those are what you are getting. an off brand company called "spoke"

vote-for1vote-against

@dandaman784: Skullcandy made another company so they could make their headphones without the skulls in hopes more people would buy their stuff.

vote-for1vote-against

@cstlfx: why is there no website or anything out there...? it doesnt make sense for skullcandy to abandon their brand identity.

vote-for2vote-against

Yeah, Skullcandy's have a lifetime warranty so saying "you get what you pay for" doesn't really make sense...2 replacements for my $30 smokin buds over 4 years seems like a damn good deal if you ask me.

As for these, these headphones are awful. I picked up a pair of these a couple years ago, don't even remember where, and they did break extremely quickly. I'm sure that these do not have the same warranty as normal skullcandy's because they are VERY cheap headphones. Not worth it IMO

Free shipping AND Skullcandies at 1/3 the original price?
I'm just amazed there's no catch.

vote-for1vote-against

i'm in for 1. even though i have some skull candies already, i can't pass up a pair for $5. might even have to get another.

vote-for1vote-against

you guys who say that skullcandy's break know that all their headphones have lifetime warranty... right?

vote-for1vote-against

I love skullcandy they are the only headphones that work for a long time for me. I lose mine to the dog chewing them rather than that they quit working. Same for my three daughters we all buy only skullcandy because they last and don't cost an arm and a leg.

In for one... Read some reviews on Amazon and the like, they rival some $60 headphones. For $5 shipped? Yes please. My other good earbuds replaced my speakers for my computer until I get a decent headset. My only gripe is when I bought them last night they only had the Rasta and Nuevo Sonido colors and I wanted the Bounty Hunter, but I digress

I have a pair of FMJ's that broke within a month. I have not sent them to be replaced so i just bought a pair of these 5$ ones. The skullcandy website is easy to use to generate an RMA. Now if i could only get to the post office to ship the FMJ's.

So true @rammones ive been through two pairs in the past 5 months and the one head phone has died in both of them, sick of skull candy headphones

vote-for3vote-against

For those of you who are complaining about dying headphones, there are two things I recommend:

1. Invest in a case for your headphones. They stay nice and if you have pencils or keys in your pocket they will do significantly less damage to your headphones, if at all.

2. When you unplug them from your iPod/phone, don't just yank it by the wire. Pull it by the plug at the base of the 3.5mm jack. You don't cause stress on the wires and then they don't break as easily.

Do those 2 things and you will get another 6 months out of your headphones, at least ;)
