Note that this rebate also includes OIL CHANGES using Quaker State Ultimate Durability oil. So if you're not a DIY type of person, you can still get this rebate. The brand and type of oil must be noted on the receipt.

Great timing! Im due for an oil change in about 100 miles.

@silentsnow31802: I'm due for an oil change in -2000 miles

vote-for1vote-against

@gideonfrost: I don't change my oil. I change my wine and beer.

vote-for2vote-against

I just changed the oil in our main car tonight, but 500+ miles a week means this deal will NOT go to waste.

vote-for2vote-against

this is a GREAT find! Just did both cars with Valvoline not that long ago, however I will make a little room in the garage and store this so this does not go to waste

Cool find! I've never used Quaker State oil and I usually put fully synthetic in my car but I'm gonna go for this deal. Will post back later to let you know what my Walmart and Target price the stuff at.

Pretty good deal, thanks!

This is a synthetic oil.
It costs $6.79 per quart at my Advance Auto Stores.
So, based on this, it is not free, but a good deal nonetheless.

vote-for1vote-against

This oil is indeed quite expensive. $7.29 qt. at my local Autozone. This coupon though would make it about half price.

This IS a great deal, had sticker shock last weekend, down a Qt went to Pep Boys, $5.00 a Qt, holy crap!

vote-for1vote-against

@fredrinaldi: I think the Quaker State "Advanced" Durability (Green Bottle) is $5 at Pep Boys. This Coupon is for "Ultimate" Durability (Clear Bottle). The Rebate for the Advanced Durability is $10.

vote-for0vote-against

Like what has been said previously this oil retails for around $6-$8 depending on where you shop. But if you catch one of the 'deals' at your local autozone, pep boys, advanced, etc.. They sometimes have 5qts and a filter for $xx.xx. It's usually for a specific brand of oil but they have had Quaker State in the past. I'm not sure if they will still send a rebate check if the oil is purchased that way though. Worth a shot I'd say!

Ace Hardware Outlet is offering a six pack of 5W-30 for under $40.00, including shipping - see http://tinyurl.com/QS5W30Woot.

In for one.

vote-for1vote-against

@10elawncare: The rebate excludes "Value Packs", which I believe the combo would fall under.

Quaker State is offering various rebates for four different oils of theirs. So if this isn't your oil of choice or it's simply too expensive, check it out.

NOTE: WalMart offers 5-quarts of "higher mileage" for $15 and there's a $15 MIR.

@firebirdude: Where's the MIR? In the store or online somewhere?

vote-for1vote-against

hi you all seem to not understand the add if you click onthe link takes you to advance auto you do need an account there email and password you use the code RPFE which for me came up automaticly i got 5qts for 19.95 and you can print the rebate form from quaker state for the 20 buck rebate

vote-for1vote-against

@stickywicket: Click the first link I posted. It gives you four choices of oil, one of them being Higher Mileage. Fill in your email address and they mail the rebate form to you instantly.

vote-for1vote-against

@jsoko: Funny story I'm still overdue for an oil change now it's just like 3000 miles. I didn't partake in this deal. Sorry I can't be more help.

vote-for1vote-against

@gideonfrost: Ohh jeeze, thanks for the reply!

vote-for1vote-against

Mailed rebate on 2/20/12, no rebate yet and I see that there is absolutely no way to check on the rebates online or by phone. The only contact information listed on the rebate form is a mailing address. What a lame company. Never did like Quaker State oil anyway.

vote-for1vote-against

@rcolan: The form says allow up to 8 weeks for rebate. So don't dog them out just yet. I mailed mine in around 3/1, still haven't gotten anything. We'll see...

vote-for1vote-against

@rcolan: @firebirdude: Supposedly we can check our rebate status here: http://www.shellrebatecenter.com/default.cfm

But of coarse I get the error :"WE ARE UNABLE TO LOCATE YOUR SUBMISSION ON LINE. PLEASE CALL US AT 866-707-6737 SO THAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE MAY ASSIST YOU."

Could be because I submitted 3/19.

vote-for2vote-against

Got mine today. Almost 8 weeks to the day.

vote-for1vote-against

@firebirdude: I got 1 of 2 a couple of days ago... But still not the second...hmmm I'll give it a couple more days then call.

vote-for1vote-against

Well I looked online and the second submission was invalid for "Rebate exceeds maximum limit for this offer" so I called and they are trying to tell me because I didn't register the vehicles, the limit is one per household. Since the rebate notes clearly state, "Limit one request per vehicle." and nothing more about not registering and a limit of one per household, which I am not buying, they are escalating my complaint to the next level of their customer service. I hope all goes well!
