One of the best tricks I have heard is to make hot dogs in the morning and toss them in the hot thermos. By lunch time you will have nice, hot, fresh franks!

Shipping is only free for in-store pickup (or on orders of $59 or more.). :-( $6.50 for me...

Also- TWO 15 ounce mugs, and 16 ounces in the thermos? And you gotta love a steel item that's not dishwasher safe.

@tcayer: The thermos itself is probably all right. It's the other stuff with rubber, which might get ruined in very hot water.

I think I have a larger version of the vacuum thermos. It works great. Defiantly can keep soups, coffee, tea hot for hours.

I think they mean exactly what it says, for best results,.... ever try washing a thermos in a dishwasher... not very effective. The cups will do fine - I have been using some stainless thermal cups like these for over 10 years (same 4 cups) and the dishwasher has had zero effect on any part of them.
16 oz thermos is enough for a second fill of coffee..
