The other deal is RIP'd for whatever reason, but it's still valid at the Microsoftstore.com site!

This right here is a once in a lifetime deal...
@jeremytheindian: :)
When even the Microsoft store is selling the cards for $35, something is amiss.
The deal posted yesterday through Amazon is still open. Just got my first Xbox live code for the Kinex that Santa brought us.
Remember you can prepay for up to 3 years... I had 4 months left on my plan, so I just bought two of these and added them. I'm now covered till May, 2014. :D
Any idea if these work with the LIVE Family plan? Or, how it might work with said Family plan?
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/JoinLive/FamilyPackFAQ
It'll work. If you buy two and redeem each on two different accounts, you'll convert the primary account to a family account and/or add another 6 months to the family account when the second gamertag is moved into the family.
Makes me wonder if the current XBox subscriptions will pass along to Microsoft's next gen system in a year or two. Easy to sell subscriptions for cheap if they won't be worth much in 2013.
@kanedax: Fall 2013 right?
I see no reason to worry about the subscription not transferring... I've been a member since the original xbox and it transferred just fine to 360. I seriously doubt they'll make XBL a separate subscription by console when the next gen system comes out, especially since it's all tied to Live accounts anyway.
@jeremytheindian: Once in a life time? It's been this price from several merchants for several days now. You a cat with 9 lives?
@3dmodelguy: From what I've been told you have to remove someone from the family plan and then use the cards on that account. Then in 7-10 days (don't remember which it was) you can add them back and the time on that account is added but by half basically you get 6 months of family pack for a 12 month card.
@jeremytheindian: Nothing official yet, but it's kind of in the cards. Nintendo's putting out the WiiU this coming Christmas, so most techno people think Microsoft and Sony are going to say something about their next systems at E3 this summer. Time will tell, though.
@mrsmoofy: Hah...he was joking. :D
@kanedax: Sony won't be putting out any info at E3 and Microsoft said it won't put out a new console this year but it won't comment on whether it was going to release info on a new console at E3 which makes me think they might. Also one big indication on if a manufacturer is going to release a new console is when they do a price drop (usually base models would be $99)which Sony and Microsoft haven't done yet so I say Fall 13' at the earliest for Xbox and I think Fall 14' as the earliest date for the PS4.
Sweet, done.
@bonoman: Was it shipped or delivered via email?
@jeremytheindian: Neither... you're given a code on-screen as soon as you complete the checkout process.
$38.33 with tax in Ohio, still cheaper than the $39.99 at Amazon I guess.
@ohdang5: That sucks, was $35.99 for me in AL from Amazon, no tax and no shipping because it was just a code, not the card.
Huh, still works!
In for one!
FYI: "Free Shipping" = "Print it yourself"
Still working today.
Worked great for me thanks. In for 2!!
What gives? I chose free shipping, and they're shipping me a card? What happened to the old-fashioned codes people were getting just days ago?
I just ordered two. Said that order was processing and I would receive a confirmation once the order completed. Still not sure how I'm gonna be receiving the codes...
Still going strong...
still good but took them 10 hours to process my order :-p
Amazon has the same deal. Just got it delivered with free shipping for $35.99.
@rhammond1989: got mine in minutes, the code was emailed in the confirmation email
This deal is still going on.
