don't forget the "sears2012" code if you get 50 bucks worth.

I have about 10 of these. They work great for storage in the basement.

I would recommend clear plastic for storage.

@robguest: If you sort your stuff and label it on the lid and side, it's not so bad if they're not clear. And then you don't have to stare at dead bug carcasses as they collect inside.

@smasumur: how do bugs get inside and die?

vote-for4vote-against

@robguest: I totally agree with you, I have dozens down my basement, all folders and boxes inside them are labeled properly. It saves me time from searching things, I do not have to open the bin to search actually. And if some people would say, you can label them outside too... well... what is labeled outside may not be what is inside... right? I love transparent bins, it saves me a lot of time!!!

@smasumur: So you want to open it to get surprised!!! ;)

I have similar boxes that I keep my clothes in. When I moved into my current apartment, I had nothing, and wasn't really looking to start over. So my clothes are in the closet and 5 giant storage boxes, arranged by shirts, pants, pjs, etc. I'm pretty disorganized, and doing it this way makes my life so much easier.

Cant get it shipped. That is a shame, I signed up for that free shipping deal

Walter White approves of this container.

Thanks! I just moved, and threw a bunch of my stuff into garbage bags for the interim. Now, I can transfer it into bins without spending a fortune and also, I won't have to worry about critters as much. :)

@fit410s: It's hard for them to get in and out. The unfortunate ones stumble across a ventilation hole, or the gap where the lid closes. Once they're in, they are stuck there until they die. It's really bad if a female gets in with a load of eggs.

There would be other problems if the containers had air tight seals. For one thing, they would cost a lot more.

Awesome deal, these always come in handy.

These containers break very easily. I had a bin fall two feet and it cracked along the side making it useless.
