Pizza Hut — $10.00 pizza works with Double Toppings for $10
The site specifically states "No Double Toppings"... However, I ordered a pizza last night with extra cheese and every single topping X 2- the SubTotal was $37.00, but the Total was only $10+tax. They totally made the pizza and it was heavy. This is sure to be an error on the site that will be fixed soon.

Companies promoting their own goods should not be allowed to post their supposed "deals" to a community of people who join a site such as this one which is a filter to the constant attack of mainstream advertising. We post what we want because we want to, no matter how dumb. Bacon.
If it matters at all, ever since they started this promotion, I've had some damn awesome pizza from there. :) I make my own concoction and it's much better than what's on the menu.
lol bacon. as you say that I'm wearing a Ba shirt, periodic table of elements bacon shirt.
I actually -work- at pizza hut, unfortunately. The company is aware of this problem, made no attempt at fixing it (likely because they are incompetent). I really wish you -wouldn't- do that though because it hurts to cooks... but hey, do what ya gotta do I guess but the cooks will hate you for it. Some won't even give your the duplicate toppings as they arent supposed to to begin with.
Tried it.. no go any mo. RIP.
umm, ok. how does a double topping "hurt" the cook? if pizza hut is as intelligent as every other company that makes pizza, a "double" topping is actually only about 1.5-1.75 toppings. I have been making pizza for 3 years and have never once had a topping "hurt" me or my company. this is the most idiotic statement I've ever heard. I could understand that if you are actually putting on "double" toppings, as in 2x anything when doubled, how that could hurt the company, but that is the companies fault, but will in no way hurt a cook. if it will, then I bet you experience many workers comp claims when people order two toppings on a pizza too.
@cushcush10: perhaps he is referring to cooking the bacon -- the grease pops and burns - i learned that when I worked at Sonic in highschool... I HATED cooking bacon. That isn't to say I don't eat as often as possible though
@cushcush10: anybody ordering double of every topping is just being a jackass. He did not mean physically hurt.
@capguncowboy: the bacon comes in frozen and pre-cooked.
@cushcush10: He does work at pizza hut...I mean really what do you expect? Bad grammar and toppings that hurt, well you got em.
Actually, I'm pretty sure he means it hurts the cook time. Too many toppings begin to act as an insulation against the heated air of the convection oven, resulting in a pizza that can be burned on the top and still undercooked in the center. That's why the special is actually limited to ~4 toppings in the commercials.
Yeah, I get the veggie and add chicken (need some protein from time to time) and it always gives me this "too many toppings" warning. But the pizzas are always great.
Come on guys. I'm trying to find out about a coupon working or not, and you are having some off the wall idiotic discussion about stuff irrelevant to the central point. Does the coupon work or does it not? Please. And thanks.
yes, the $10 pizza is still available. the double topping part seems to be ymmv. just go place your order and see what happens, you don't even need to sign in to get a total.
My go-to $10 is the "super-supreme" w/ extra sauce & cheese. And no, I'm not obese.
Pfft. Chicken Taco Pizza is where it's at. With Re-fried Beans instead of sauce. Or Badger Pizza of I'm back in my home town.
The only problem with this is that the Pizza Hut in my home town doesn't do Online Orders and won't otherwise accept that code. :(
This "error" has been on their website since the day they started doing the $10 pizzas MONTHS ago. The first time I ordered I did 2x every meat topping. Sure it hurts the cooktimes; but I wanted to try it anyways. They warn you once you pass like 8 toppings or something that it affects the cooking of the pizza. When I got it home, it was the WORST pizza I'd ever had. The toppings and cheese were browned like it was cooked as long as it should be, but the amount of toppings prevented anything in the center or bottom from cooking. It was soggy and cold. Trust me, DON'T pass the "recommended" amount of toppings.
Well at my store anything over six toppings can cause cookability issues. so as owners and management don't want people getting sick from eating bad food, its bad businesses. Granted most stores are making money over last year, but also not making any profit off of it. my store its about 43% off a large pizza and the only way to make any money is to sell a lot of them which is hard in small towns and so on. I do know a few stores that tried to break free from this and they went under. I really wish PHI would figure a way out of this "Deal" but i also know what there afraid of.
You know I can get a frozen DiGiourno and buy mushrooms, farmer john sausage a jalapeno and some garlic for about $8 total, and still have enough sausage for breakfast tomorrow morning w/ my eggs and grits.
@yonce: yeah you can, but most people are fat and lazy.
on another note the only good thing about working for a pizza hut is making breakfast pizza 6 eggs, lg thin and some ham, pork, bacon and japs, thats the best pizza there...pineapple is good too lol.
@jorfrost: the only thing i would say is if your going to get alot of toppings you have to go thin crust, or ask if they can cook it longer.
