First Pair of Glasses Free
coupon code: FIRSTPAIRFREE
If you’re really careful, you could go your whole life on this deal.
Plus shipping, which is typically $10-15.
Plus a lot more if you want anything other than a plain lens ... my "free" progressive lens (no coatings or transition) were $180.
For those with just standard lenses this really is a great deal. I think I ended up paying about $15 shipped. Got the glasses about 2-3 days after ordering them (before the quoted ship date). They came in a case with lens cleaning solution, a cleaning cloth and a little glasses repair kit. The frames are really nice and not just a cheap build. Great for an extra pair to keep in the car etc. You can get a similar deal at goggles4u.com but their quality was much worse than through coastal.com and shipping took about 2 weeks. Hope this helps!
Couldn't get it to work for me.
@kebrinkman: What specific issue are you having?
My free pair was only $46, haha. I buy from Eyebuydirect.com, much better site and once in a while they have a BOGO deal.
@thefenst: It had an error message, I believe it was "Coupon Code Not Applied," but that is going off my memory
I love Coastal, they are fast and the glasses are durable.
@kebrinkman: The only thing I can think of is that you picked a coupon ineligible frame. All of the frames linked to from the landing page should be eligible. If you let me know what frame it was, I can have the merchant check into it.
@thefenst: Pretty sure that is what it was. Not a big deal. Thanks.

Repeatedly receiving the above when trying to checkout.
@jackfountain: You might try a different browser. I will let them know about this issue.
weird, I keep trying to add a particular pair of glasses to my cart and every time I do so it just redirects me back to the page to input all my prescription information without adding to my cart. Sucky, I was really wanting a new pair...
my prescription was not available with a standard lens. after the discount code, my "free" pair came to $60+ which is still reasonable compared to the $145 I paid at the Optometrist office.
Anyone know how long this coupon code is good for?
