I saw "Gerber" and a picture of a knife and thought: "I didn't know they made knives for babies."

@shophde: That's not a knife, that's a spoon!

Since when did we stop calling these 'Rambo' knives???

Do be aware there is a new version of this knife (the PRO version) that has full tang construction (this one is 3/4 tang) and a higher quality steel (this one uses 440a).

That being said, the new version is double the price so if you are not going to abuse your knife, this one is probably the correct call.

I've heard good things and bad things about this knife...that being said, for just over $30 it's probably a decent knife for basic outdoor use.

I have one of these knives and it is a very nice and practical knife for many uses and well made. I paided twice this much and would recommend it to anyone. This is a great deal.

Some of the Bear Grylls knives got recalled for having fabric sheathes as the blades were cutting through the stitching. Who would have known that knives would cut through fabric?

I clicked on that (supplied for us/right column) link to Cabela's and my security system went crackers on it.

That is very, very rare- I don't have very sensitive settings. Odd.
Un-coolness.

This knife will only work during the day. At night it will leave you and go check into a hotel, there to quietly rock back and forth in shame, naked on the bed with a glass of its own urine in its hands.
