This Mac & Cheese and some Ramen Noodles will keep you alive for 4 years of college - I am living proof!

Mmm...Noodles, elmer's glue, a sprinkle of salt and yellow, and BOOM...there this is.

This Mac and Cheese brand is awful. It is runny, hard to make, and the noodles are watery even when cooked correctly. This isn't that good a price either. I saw this junk on clearance at biglots for 50 cents a box. Still didn't buy any because it's gross. Source: I am a mac and cheese lover

You can get the two for a buck at most 99 cents stores.

@k1down: I'm going to have to concur. Even the store brands are better than this.

Worst mac n cheese ever. My kid won't even eat it, it is THAT bad! It is hard to cook, and tastes like cardboard. I wouldn't feed this to my dog. I bought a bunch on sale at our supermarket, and threw away 5 boxes after the first one was so horrid. Yup I'm that wasteful.

@k1down: It is bad, but I found the pizza variety tolerable.

at least around DFW, these are 2 for 1.00 at the Dollar Tree

Before ordering just think about this... How bad must a practically nonperishable item be for it to make it all the way to a deal a day website. After contemplation if you still are interested then you deserve a pat on the back for being the miserliest of the miserly.

@idontkn1: When I first read your comment, " How bad must a practically nonperishable item be for it to make it all the way to a deal a day website." I laughed. Then I realized that this comment applies to EVERYTHING at deal-a-day sites, including Woot!

@belyndag: Okay you got me there. Let me qualify it by restating it as "a nonperishable food item". That being said, if you think about it, most of the stuff that gets on most deal a day sites (electronics and fashion items) expires due to obsolescence or changing tastes more quickly than a box of mac and cheese that is probably good for three or four years. Besides you aren't putting a year old refurb tv in your belly.

I just saw this exact item at a closeout store for 49cents a box...how is this a deal?

A great way to pre-embalm yourself before the heart failure sets in!

@idontkn1: I would agree, except that I am guilty of buying a pretty good bit of perishable food items from woot sites, including Brandini Toffee, and Fleur de Sel Chocolates (I have two boxes of those in my freezer right now.)

@mrsque: I suspect that many deals posted here can be found at a better price at someone's local closeout store somewhere, but if it isn't available at a better price near me, that doesn't do me any good. Before I post a deal I check the price against Amazon, at minimum, and occasionally against other sites that are pertinent. I don't think anyone can check every possible site or store. In this case I found the same deal on Amazon for just under $28 shipped, so this, by comparison, is a good deal for those who might not find it at a local store.

I got these for 10 for $1 at a local supermarket and should have wondered why before buying. They are awful. the cooking instructions are bizarre, you actually cook the pasta in the milk, which either never cooks the pasta correctly or boils and reduces the pasta to gloppy glue.
I know Kraft mac n cheeze, and you sir are no Kraft mac n cheeze.
