Whats the difference between an A700 and this A210?

Double check the interweb for info and updates. I have an Acer Iconia A500, refurb. Very happy with the device. With that said, Acer is no longer updating android beyond ICS for the A500. Needless to say, this has torque'd off some users from buying another Acer product if their end-of-life for updates is so short. Don't know about the particular device posted here but I'd check before you buy.

@xmracer: the tablet comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

I made the mistake of buying an Acer refurb tablet. Many problems. Acers customer service sux. They will not provide any tech service to you. Furthermore, their Android software support / maintenance is non-existant. Save yourself some major agravation and pass. You can find a much better Samsung tablet for the same money at Sams club and many other places!

@techierob: Both tablets have a multi-touch 10.1" screen, A700 comes with higher resolution and sharper screen. Processors have similar features except for A700 is 0.1GHz faster. Other than that both have 1GB RAM, and have maximum capacity of 128GB...Does this answer your questions? Let me know if you'd like to learn more.

i got an acer refurb and like it just fine. easy to root and throw cyanogen mod on it, so eol is not a concern for me :)

@drcanak: I have had the A500 for 18 mos. use it daily. i like it. Can you get the built-in mic to work? Like for voice to text? It seems most users, including me, have very limited success with that feature.

@goatcrapp: do u have the A200 by chance? What's a good tutorial on how to do that?

@katanaryda: just used this: http://www.voidmydroid.com/blog/2012/simpleroot-super-simple-root-acer-iconia-tab-a200/

then followed the cyanogen mod's instructions. (so it's a 2-install process - 1 to root, and the other to load cygm)
