how does this work? Just print the 2 coupons and give them to them and its free? Maybe just some tax?

vote-for6vote-against

@danewdk: Yes, you just print out the 2 coupons and take them to your local target store. The price of the food saver is $19.49 so you should be covered by just the coupons. Of course I suppose this would depend on the tax rate in your area. :)

I can't find any Target coupon for this item. The only FoodSaver coupon I see is for buy one, get one free on the plastic bag rolls. What category is it supposed to be under?

OK - Found it by Googling, but the coupon I found is NOT valid for the hand-held model, only for three of the more expensive models.

vote-for4vote-against

I would suggest people get this asap. I'm pretty sure the coupons are only supposed to be good for the expensive foodsavers, not the $20 one.

I have a cheaper one like this and while it does work ok, buying the bags really does stink.

Hmm. The manufacturer's coupon does say "Not valid with any other promotions," but I don't think that applies to in-store promotions. Even if it does, there's a pretty good chance you'll get a cashier that doesn't know the difference.

I'm going to try for one after work!

vote-for2vote-against

my local target won't stack coupons but, from other sites, I understand that many do...

vote-for7vote-against

Are some of you looking at a different coupon? Mine clearly states that it's only valid on:
- SmartSeal vacuum sealing system
- Black vacuum sealing system
- Vertical unit.

The hand-held model is NOT included.

I printed these earlier and I'm going to try it out or see if I can get a little higher end model for cheap, but my Target is awful for couponing so be prepared that you may have to educate your cashier (bring a copy of their coupon policy - you can find online) if you really want to get the free one. Most Targets will take these two coupons with no problem (since one is a Target coupon and one is a manufacturer coupon) if it doesn't have the specific models. My Target treats me like a criminal if I get a super awesome deal with coupons :(

vote-for4vote-against

@mrsque: You mean you can't use a Target coupon and a Manufacturer coupon on one item? I'm pretty sure that's against their coupon policy to not accept it (I understand you can't use two manuf. coupons on the same item, but the Target coupon is a store coupon, so there may be some confusion there).

vote-for2vote-against

Apparently the coupon site doesn't like Google Chrome. Can someone tell me if this is usable online or only in a store?

vote-for1vote-against

Maybe I'm just blind, but I cannot find the target coupon on their site. I went through it twice, and once with my wife and nothing regarding 10 off. Maybe they read this post and took it down?

vote-for0vote-against

don't see the coupon on the target site....

vote-for1vote-against

Can't find coupon. They must have gotten wise to us!

vote-for0vote-against

Each coupon site has a maximum amount of prints per coupon, I think this posting helped reach that limit quicker than we anticipated. I am almost willing to bet a few got greedy and printed off 10 or so each (yes it can be done, and very easily might I add) and now those of us that just want the single one are stuck with 50% off rather than free. But I wont hate on those that did it. Getting the best deal is a first come first serve, punch the lil ole lady in the mouth for the elmo, and dash to the register before security can stop you, kinda thing...

I printed off the coupon.com one, and will check back in a few days to see if they issue any extra target ones.

vote-for1vote-against

anyone got a screen shot of the coupon? looks like its been removed.

vote-for1vote-against

The Coupons.com coupon has reached its print limit as well. Oh, well. I would have used them to buy a V3240 rather than scoring a freebie. :/

@danewdk: If the base price ends up free, I think tax is waived. I used the $1 coupon on the $1 ibuprofen that was posted a while back and wasn't charged any tax

@kristiwsu: Sometimes it's just a bunch of aholes.
I had the teller and a manager both smile at me and tell me that they didn't want to lose money, and they couldn't think of a reason why I should get such a good deal.
So (being a smartazz)I asked them if they could read. Because on the coupon it mentions that they get fully reimbursed plus some extra change for doing the sale. That's extra profit to the store, plus the impulse sale.
Nope.
They said they didn't understand why I didn't understand why they couldn't give me such a good deal. Even if it was legit.
They also said they didn't understand why I walked out leaving a half cart of other items, either.
Welcome to Los Angeles!

vote-for1vote-against

@kristiwsu: that's exactly what I mean. I've tried it before with other items but the cashiers always said no and I figured I it wasn't worth the effort to try to get something for free or almost free...I mean, we're not talking about tvs or anything. It was usually stuff like toothpaste, soap, deoderant. Nothing as big or neat as this. they'd probably really make a fuss.

I just printed the coupons.com coupon for this about 30 seconds ago... so that one IS still there.

vote-for1vote-against

The Target coupon is indeed gone. Replaced by a BOGO for Food Saver bags. Coupons.com coupon still exists at this time.

Important info here... @kristiwsu & anyone who has an issue redeeming at this store... It is perfectly legal!!! If coupon does not say can not be combined. It can! If it's free... It's free! Where the heck do they get these manager's in retail? I was in retail for 20 yrs. Law is law and they can't make it up because it seems to good to be true. A retail store gets reimbursed for coupons. That is a no brainer. I think the customer service iis seriously in question there for even giving you a hard time about it! You get back in that store and demand the district manager's phone number, the regional manager number and on to call corporate next if necessary. Even if it was for a candybar here... you will make a difference. That manager will even benefit in the long run because they will get educated in the laws. The other benefit will be for all their other customers in the future when this arises again.

I'm overly understanding with those who work with the public. I really am. Not when they don't know what they are doing like that. I wouldn't forgive my doc if he followed his own laws. Another thing to check out in your state is the price and signing laws. In MA. I know 100% that if they sign a 500$ TV for 100$... Guess what? You get it for that! Sale sign in front (has to be legitamitely misrepresented so it is placed by the product in same way as stuff actually on sale) you legally get the sale price. Law is from the old bait & switch days. MA. stores get random audits by the state checking exactly that stuff! As long as the wording is right and the signage is really misleading or price sticker is wrong. It's worth standing firm. $20 is nothing to them compared to losing repeat, loyal, happy customers.

vote-for1vote-against

@jlshagsshop: Yeah. Customers get free items and retailers get free money and nobody loses.

vote-for1vote-against

I guess target took the coupon off :(

vote-for1vote-against

Even taking $10 off the handheld, ending up at $9.49, seems like a good deal (when using the $10 coupon from coupons.com).

I purchased 2 2pks of the 11" rolls this morning using the Target BOGO offer. They were priced at $19.99 each, and each had a $2 manufacturers coupon attached, bringing the price down to $16 (plus tax) for 4 rolls. They also had the bags with a $1 manufacturers coupon attached, priced at $10.99.

And yes, Target will take one Target coupon and one manufacturers coupon per item. It's even stated in their policy.

vote-for1vote-against

No Target coupon just BOGO for the bags. Went through all 207 coupons.
