As aggressive as Monster is about trademark, I'm surprised they haven't already tried to have this site taken down for use of the word "beats" when describing these headphones.

Anyone know how long the cord is. It would be nice if the website said.

@tljx: Monster was never an owner of Beats Electronics, they were just manufacturing under an exclusive license that expired last year.

@john1863: Hi John, just measured the earbuds. They are 51" from the plug to the base of the earbuds. Hope that helps!

I was wondering but are these noise cancelling earbuds? The design looks good with the flat wires, however, the site did not mention noise cancellation. I'm assuming these are not?

@arneljr: That's correct...there is no active noise canceling on these. There are passive noise canceling qualities though (since the earbuds suction into your ear, sealing out outside noise)

It's true, Local.Woot is no longer, but please don't despair.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
