Groupon will honor the amount paid for this voucher ($10) if not used by December 24, 2012, by crediting purchaser's Groupon account in Groupon Bucks. The promotional value expires December 24, 2012 and the voucher is not redeemable at Toys“R”Us after that date.
Cool deal, and you can use it for any physical product in the store, but not for services or gift cards or rentals.
Since it doesn't exclude food or diapers, this is a GREAT deal.
The code on the groupon is 20 digits. Anyone figure out which 16 are the card number and which 4 are the pin? I want to try and force it to work online if it will let me.
Does this work with online purchases?
@brandonmclain - doubt it'll work for online purchases. "The Fine Print" on the Groupon page says In-Store Only.
@brandonmcclain: "Limit 1 per person. In-store only. Not valid outside USA."
This is great, thank you. My wife wants to buy my son all the new Ninja Turtles for Christmas so this will essentially make them buy one get one free.
I saw a guy on the news say that Toys R Us / Target / Walmart toy prices are high now because there is an extra week between Thanksgiving and Christmas - He said that toy prices will be lower after Dec 15th, and to wait it out if you think your toy will still in-stock
@omnichad: i can only guess its either the first 4 or the last 4... let me know if it works
If it is a "in store only deal", then why does it say free shipping?
@largemarge1: "free shipping" on the groupon certificate :)
@angelbabi523: No luck. I really hoped to order the Wii Remote Plus with FlingSmash for $22 ($12 total after Groupon deal). Too bad the stores are all sold out and won't match the deal anyway.
I bought my Groupon on Thursday and used it during the Black Friday sale and the sales clerk was so surprised that is scanned effortlessly.
Why does it say "free shipping" if it's for "on location" only?
It sounds like free shipping only if I go pick it up!
it says Albany and the Capital region will it work in other toys r us like orange county
No one else has a problem with the wording of this deal? I know that it's a good deal, but the phrasing suggests that it's $10 to buy a certificate to spend $10 on $20 of merch so you would spend $20 to get $20 of toys. I did a headspin after reading this one.
I'm amused that this is still here, as it's a duplicate of a duplicate:
@okham: I was going to say that too..
But hey, check this out.. They deleted the original. Wow. Woot FTW.
@ksapp82: Congrats, your deal got popular!
@drchops: I wish, my deal is now gone too...
@drchops: And the original original got expired. Not fair, not fair at all.
@okham: I guess the all mighty Woot has their favorites!
I purchased this deal plus have $8 in TRU rewards, plan on using them this weekend. Good deal except for TRU sucks with their LEGO pricing.
toys r us is owned by bain capital........ they will get none of my business.
Does anyone know if these stack? For instance, could I buy two and use them on one purchase?
@turtletitan: Limit one per person. Sorry.
Just make sure you use it before it expires. I'm fighting with Groupon now to get the face value of a groupon I bought and forgot to use. Even though they say all over their site that the face value never expires, they have a very different idea on what the face value is. In this case, if the groupon expires, they will probably say that you get $10 off a total purchase of $20.
