How is $419 a deal for earphones? I better be able to hear god through them.

vote-for3vote-against

@joefriday711: Did you look around? There are some really good deals here.

vote-for1vote-against

it's not that. most of us were looking for a good deal on THOSE headphones in the advertised picture box. Thanks for posting anyway.

vote-for1vote-against

@entity17: I'm sure they're just there to put some sort of random picture on it unless you being that serious. Plus, the title pretty much said there were other items, not the headphones.

vote-for1vote-against

I agree, the headphones were 100% worth commenting on... $419!

vote-for1vote-against

The Harmony 610 isn't a bad deal for $40

@joefriday711: My Shure SCL5s set me back about 300, but yeah, I can basically hear God through them.

In this price range, you get the most accurate sound out there. I got mine for monitoring field recordings, but they double perfectly as a pair of earphones for my Zune HD.

@conhopper: LOL! No offense there conhopper, but as a person who thinks paying 300 bucks for headphones is normal you are not qualified to give advice on what constitutes a Woot deal. I'm sorry,300 bucks for for a good flat screen TV or notebook etc,..... but never for freaken EARPHONES! I mean, my boyfriend is a rich entertainer in the music industry and even HE was amazed!! I do have one question for u... does your butler or the live in maid clean off the earwax on those suckers? I'm just curious!! HEE HEE! :)

@kkarenlovesmale: It really isn't that uncommon at all, just go look at the audiophile community. (Not saying I would spend that much)

vote-for0vote-against

@jethroop369: oh man, to each their own, I guess. It's gotta be a guy thing tho, it just gotta be.

vote-for1vote-against

@kkarenlovesmale: Same reason why people (basically males, which you love) buy superchargers for their cars when they are plenty powerful...just not powerful enough, persay. lol

vote-for1vote-against

@kkarenlovesmale: You do realize that I stated having bought these for my job, right?

vote-for2vote-against

@kkarenlovesmale: Not exactly, sound quality can be an obsession for some, even when out of the house. I myself am content with my pair of Sennheiser headphones, but a lot of people strive for an almost live sound when they buy their high end headphones. Those are the expensive ones. Case and point the Bose Quiet Comfort are owned by thousands, and the price tag is 300. (I personally do not recommend Bose)

vote-for2vote-against

If you don't understand why someone would spend $300 on headphones, then you are not the kind of person they are marketed towards. The people who buy them have their reasons. It's the difference between buying the cheapest frames possible and the plastic lenses versus the lightweight comfort frames and the polycarbonite compressed lenses. If you can make do with the cheap stuff, there's no reason to buy expensive, but if the cheap stuff bugs you, you get to unload hundreds.

Be grateful you aren't an audiophile and shove your white Apple earbuds in with a smile, I say!

vote-for1vote-against

I thought it was a misprint , earbuds $400. I looked it up on Amazon and they are $400 there, too. CRAZY

vote-for2vote-against

$400 for headphones is insanity, yes, yes. Can we move on please?

There are some good deals just on dented box on there (-$10+ in some cases). I've yet to buy a logitech product that steered me wrong as far as mice, keyboards and cameras have gone.

If nothing else, they have great customer service.

vote-for3vote-against

How do I get the job at Logitech of being the guy that dents boxes so they can have a sale? Is there some sort of previous box-denting experience required? Perhaps they only hire people who've worked at UPS in the past?

vote-for1vote-against

I guess if you got money to burn...

vote-for0vote-against

@joefriday711: No you won't HEAR God but you will feel him when he smacks you upside your head for buying them! Which of the deadly sins does this fall under?

vote-for1vote-against

Jeez quit being so critical, if you want it to sort by price, just click the drop-down in the upper right hand corner and select "Price, Low to High." Then you can look at all the great deals! The earphones are listed first because apparently they are popular? Not sure.

vote-for3vote-against

One note for those of you who don't understand the purpose of my specific purchase:

The SCL5s are sound monitors. This means that they strive to keep as even a frequency curve as possible, which means I can hear the sound almost exactly as it was recorded. The whole point of this is so that I can properly produce my work without having to worry about how people will hear it.

I'm not sure about the consumer versions of these expensive earphones, but at least for me, these things are for work and, therefore, can be written off.

vote-for1vote-against

Do the shipping people at logitec have coordination issues? So many dented boxes.

vote-for1vote-against

@wasabiman: Either that or some anger issues. Don't take it out on the keyboards :(

vote-for1vote-against

the security camera's at this price are a great deal, headphones no, lots better out there for the cash, i have to say thanks though i just updated my security system at home and at the office for half of what i paid six months ago.

The Z-5 speakers are great. Connect via usb and can control itunes and the volume with a remote. Sound is clear and powerful, and they're omnidirectional so they do a better job of filling a room than standard speakers. I've had nothing but good experiences with logitech stuff. The only thing to break on me was a pair of headphones after I threw them against a wall. My bad.
