The drill doesn't include the battery and haven't been able to find a reference that the driver and drill could share the same battery, yet. Still a good deal, though

@drewnkc: They both use the Nextec DieHard 12V lithium battery. AFAIK all of the Nextec branded items use the same battery.

The impact driver for $55.00 is a pretty good deal on its own. I love mine, has been a live saver for installing shelving and some other projects I've done recently.

PS Here is another battery. Says "Slightly used".. I'd assume these are batteries from the units that were returned back to sears (devices tested and non-working went for parts, while batteries get sold off).

this is awesome, I had a $40 GC to spend, in addition if you're a reward member, if you spend $50 you get a $10 GC/Reward Card

Also, you might want to avoid the free bit set if you're doing in-store pick-up; none of my stores had it available, and shipping was the only option...$11 to ship a free bit-set....

I bought this the last time they ran the special (before Christmas) and gave these to my father. He's a bit of a tool snob and his 18 volt dewalts batteries were dying So I got him these. He's used these for both large and small projects around the house. He states every bit as much torque as the larger bulkier Dewalt and the superfast charge really helps out (20 minutes).
On a side note they had the 12 volt Nextecs on sale for $25 when I picked up so bought him a back up.
