I so miss Calvin & Hobbes (and Far Side, too).
Great Find!!! @cloudscout, your my hero of the day!
Nice, got it about a year ago for a little cheaper from Amazon and it was worth it. This price was worth it, too.
Not a bad deal, looks like it's mostly been sitting around $90 on Amazon for the last few year or so.

I own this..and love it! I got it mint on eBay about a year ago for $85. This is a good deal..
got this from a previous posted deal at barnes and noble for about 64 bucks shipped
Same for me -- but that required a 30% off coupon. Happens a few times a year....the most recent 25-30% coupons happened just before Christmas.
Not a bad price if you'd like the set now...well worth it IMHO.
Edit: 15% off coupon A8N7K7X puts it at $78 + tax. Free shipping if you want to sign up for a free trial membership with BN of some sort of supreme membership.
I would love to have this but I read a lot of bad reviews on poor binding and the fact that they censored/changed a lot of the original comics when putting them in this compilation.
But I doubt there will ever be a remake of this
I miss these guys too! Didn't someone post a link to some new Calvin and Hobbes comics that someone was making?
@devexityspace: I hadn't heard they'd changed it. I'll be disappointed if it's true.
Picked it up during a Black Friday lightning deal on Amazon for about $70. It was my Christmas present to myself. Already had all the books, but I'd been wanting this since they first published it. I was surprised by how heavy it is, I'd say 20+ pounds!
@devexityspace: My binding has held up fine, but I got a first printing. Maybe there was a bad batch?
Also, I think only one or two of the comics were altered a bit, and the changes were done by Watterson himself so they're not "censored". The only one I can recall ended with Calvin's mom originally saying "kid, anyone but your biological mother would've sent you to the wolves a long time ago", and he felt that was insensitive to adopted children.

Search google for 'Calvin and hobbes mashups' and you'll find examples of how other artists might envision the duo.
Great comics, hilarious and comforting all at the same time.
I can sooo relate to Calvin.
The Muppets, Dr Suess and Calvin. Learned more from that trio than anything else in my life.
