dealsuncharted 2: among thieves game of the year…

Probably the best console game I've ever played. Good price, too! Can't wait for the third.

I already got the game. I may get this for the DLC alone.

The DLC isn't that impressive, I gotta say. Only useful if you play the multiplayer. Which I didn't love as much as the main game.

If I am not mistaken, this is the standard price for this game, wherever you purchase it from.

@iamchaossthought standard price is $29.99. Amazon and newegg has it for around $28

Greatest Hits PS3 games are $29.99.

Did anyone else notice that adding a dual shock 3 Controller to the order will only cost you 41.99 as well?

So I bought this game a few months ago but have yet to use the DLC it came with. Apparently you have to enter a code and download it on line? And there is an expiration date? As a longtime Xbox owner and recent PS3 owner this is absurd to me. Why is the content not included in the package? And how can content purchased have an expiration date?

Also, is it not possible to even get the extra DLC that you paid for because of the current PSN outage?

Great single player game, though.

One of the best games I have ever played.

@wootbretz: How is that absurd? 360 games come with voucher any time they re-release a game with extra content. This isn't new being a 360 owner myself. Most PS3 games that are re-released have extra content on the disc. You being a 360 user; you shouldn't have a problem with this unless you never buy GOTY edition games. Also, anything thing that comes with a code has a expiration date. Been like this for awhile. Though, there is a chance that they usually work well after the code. And the date on this game is a misprint. It's actually October of 2011. NOT 2010. Plus, you shouldn't care too much about having to be online to get it. 90% of the stuff you get is for online use so logging online to get it doesn't sound like a ordeal. Not counting when PSN is down.

@wootbretz: I can't comment on why it would have an expiration. Basically, from what I can tell, basically you've got the game on the disk, and the code is for a set of a ton of DLC. It's all stuff that never came on a game disk. It was a giant pain in the ass to install, because you have to download and install like a dozen separate packages.

Probably no one will be able to get their DLC until Sony finally figures out how badly off their network is, fixes it, and brings it back online.

@bumcats: Maybe I don't buy enough of the re-released games with content added as part of purchase, but I did buy Fallout 3 game of the year edition and the disc with extra content was included in the package.

I think it's silly to rely on the internet for these re-release purchases, especially considering the current circumstances.

@wootbretz: Unsure about the expiration date. But on the Add-on not on the disc, I think the publishers said the disc was all ready full of data.
Or it could be just a coding/programming thing.

@wootbretz: Still. You shouldn't be too mad. Those DLC are online based. If you're not able to play online, than you're not able to use them. Even with the PSN down, you still got a solid single player game. I don't think it's silly at all. Maybe if it were DLC that explanded your single player experince..than I'd be mad if I had to log on just to use them.
