I'm not even super-heavy into music, and I like this mag

Where's the 5.99 come from?

vote-for1vote-against

Stone (coupon code) will only get you one year at 5.99

Three year: Total $17.97

vote-for1vote-against

@xarous: It gets you 1x3yrs for $5.99. There is no option to buy one year....it's actually one order equals 3 years. If you select the 3 years, you're getting 3x 3 years for 17.97 (nine years)

@coffeegirrrl: I will be in the time-out corner now. Rarely do I make a mistake. Bad, naughty, Zoot!

(I promise in the future to fully read postings and checkout screens before making any comment that a immature primate could make.)

@xarous: ;0) I checked it closely too, before posting because the wording was a little different.

I contacted them and they fixed the problem. You do actually get a 3-Year Rolling Stone subscription for only $5.99! Thats 78 Issues!

I'm currently at the start of a three year subscription from another deal on another site. Can I use this one to extend my subscription another three years?

vote-for4vote-against

@aofl: I'd contact RS.
Here's what Tanga says:
This is where things get tricky..

If you are already receiving the magazine you wish to purchase then in order for the purchase to go smoothly, it must qualify with each of these points:

The current subscription and the one you wish to purchase do not exceed the amount of years offered.
Meaning - If you have a one year subscription to Everyday With Rachel Ray and you wish to take advantage of the four years we are offering, then your current year and the amount of years you are purchasing cannot exceed the amount of years offered. Even further, you should then only place an order for three years. The amount of years we offer is the limit that the publisher allows at any given time so make sure that it does not exceed this.
You enter the shipping name and address exactly as it is stated on your current subscription.
Entering it differently can and probably will result in receiving multiple issues each month.
THAT'S IT! Buy away!

Anyone ordered magazines through Tanga before? Does it really take 8-14 weeks for your first issue? How long does it usually take if you ordered it through the magazine site?

vote-for1vote-against

@coffeegirrrl: Thanks. It looks like the answer is no.

vote-for1vote-against

I already bought this deal for $3.99 last year; still a great price. I'm idly considering adding to my existing sub for another three years…boy, that would tick off the RS subs department something fierce!

vote-for1vote-against

@disco, seems so. I did the ESPN magazine a while back and just got my first issue. But for $5.99 they can start sending my the first issue at the end of the 3 years as this is basically the price of 1 (or 2) covers for 3 years.

@discohang: I ordered a sub for Wired through them, it took about that time, but I starting getting issues of the magazine without any problem.

I've been a Spin guy for many years, occasionally checking out RS, but late last year I had a long wait in a Dentist's waiting room, and I was really impressed with what I read (read/skimmed). For this price, I'm in for 3!(years, at least)

I started a subscription to RS last December at it just expired so the timing of this is perfect. I was impressed with the quality of many of the articles this past year and although some issues were limited in interest, those that did interest me were wonderful. Thanks for posting!

at $0.077 an issue, i had damn-well better be gettin' my moneys worth!

vote-for3vote-against

@stevewootenberg: You will. The medical advice from Ozzy Osbourne is worth at least that much.

vote-for1vote-against

What a deal. I even had $1 in tanga cash. Not sure now, but that made it 4.99 for me. I'll take it!

vote-for0vote-against

\m/ Rockstar deal \m/ !!!

Was a good magazine (paper?) 20 years ago. Now just another liberal rag.
Me or the world has changed.

vote-for0vote-against

Great deal, Liberal rag or not...The articles are certainly more entertaining than most crap on TV regardless of politics.

vote-for1vote-against

I guess 9.99 still isn't that bad....

vote-for1vote-against

maybe if they paid me 6 bucks.....(fire starter)

vote-for1vote-against

casee123 is right. The deal is dead (boo hoo)!

vote-for1vote-against

It's still letting me add it for 9.99 and I get all the way to the add my CC info page. Maybe you need to be a return customer?

I've picked Wired, Maxim, Fresh Home, and Bon Appetit from tanga so far. I think the hubby is getting annoyed with me, but you just can't beat 2.99 a subscription. =D
