Vegas every weekend? How cool is that????
If you live in or near any of those select cities, you can fly to Minneapolis, then go practically anywhere! Even the Netherlands?! Jamaica? Very cool if you're retired and have nothing to do for a month. I recommend it.
You still need to pay taxes, which can be a bundle, but still a reasonably cheap way to see the US and surrounds.
You have to pay a 75 dollar regulation "fee" for domestic and 100 dollar "fee" for international. this is not a deal. look at their meager list of destinations and you will see that they stand to make money via fees anyway.
@tewkewl: That's a CHANGE fee, not a regulation fee.
No, the taxes and fees are pretty steep. Read the fin print. Its like 60 bucks for each 'segment' defined as one take off and one landing.
no the taxes are only 15 bucks per segment, less if your flight makes multiple stops.
The 75 domestic fee is if you change your plans.
so...you by the pass $499 then you call the ticket folks up, schedule your flight 3 days in advance. As long as you don't change your plan there is no additional fees. If you noshow, it is considered a change and you get tagged for it and can not schedule anything else until it's paid.
Its a great plan if you have family scattered around where they fly. You could visit one a week or every weekend. A flight from ATL to DFW and back alone will cost me nearly $200. Wish my grand daughter was due to be born in that time frame it would be a great way to see them....she's due Nov. 9 and SunCountry does not fly out of ATL.....bummer.
