Vin Diesel selling these?
@soboehmer: It appears to be Prince endorsed mouse...but maybe I've said too much already.
I worked in returns for a tech company. Please note these have a bad habit of the USB dongles breaking off in USB ports or catching fire. Please be careful. That is all.
If you'd like a red one, it's available on Amazon for $19.05 (eligible for free super saver shipping). Purple is $20.65.
"xxx"? Must be made for porn.
I've been using this mouse for over 2 1/2 years (in black) and I have never unplugged it from my laptop. It's been perfect, no fires or anything!
I picked up two of these last time and they work like a champ.
@jagg3d3d93: You confuse me.
@missellienc: Most may be fine, but I am just saying I saw a lot of these come back and they looked scary. Otherwise the small receivers are nice. I was never a fan of the scroll though.
@thunderthighs: the porn and Vin Diesel comments are because of this:
XXX, bad mouse
I've always been a Logitech guy but these MS mice are quickly becoming a favorite. I like their BlueTrack tech.. works almost on anything but glass. Don't stare into the blue beam - it's super bright. The next step up for laptops would be the Logitech Couch Mouse (works on pretty much any surface). The Microsoft USB dongle is a tad too long in my opinion - it sticks out about 1 millimeter more than the Logitech "plug it in and forget it" dongle. We stock these at my work and they're very reliable.
@w00tgurl: Ahhhh, thanks. Now I understand. Fixed. All better. Nothing to see here. Move along.
@darkzrobe: I was just picking on you about the fire. :-) To your defense, I've read about the overheating issues too. Maybe I got lucky and picked a good one. The hyper-scrolling feature is the reason I bought this mouse. I can't stand clicking through long documents, spreadsheets, etc. I used to spend a lot of time on my laptop and this mouse was less tiring on my hand and wrist.... one spin and I'm at the bottom of the page!
I've had one of these for ever 2 years. Its a great mouse that works on pretty much any surface, never had any fire issues or even heard of the issue till now. Only problem I have it the metal on the usb separated from the sensor, leaving the metal suck in the port, but it still works so it doesn't bother me. The deal makes me wish I didn't spend $50 on it when I got it with my laptop.
I HAVE THIS MOUSE -- DO NOT BUY IT!
This is the worst mouse ever! After buying my first one I had to send it back and get a new one. The new one is also crappy. It constantly loses connection and lags. I have never hated something so much in my entire life. BEWARE!!
I have no clue how others are having such luck, maybe I'm doomed? But honestly, I seriously hate this mouse.
Got a red one last time these were up - I love it, and I highly recommend it. I had a comparable Logitech mouse before, and this one blows it out of the water! Smoother movements, easier scrolling, thumb and pinky buttons... I got this mouse just in time for blasting through all three Mass Effect games back-to-back, and it held up admirably, despite my punishment during some heated multiplayer matches. It really does work on any surface! I've even had some luck occasionally with opaque glass, or clear glass if it can "see" something through the glass, like a coffee table with a solid shelf under the glass.
Please, any comment on the size of this mouse? I rarely see this in the item description. I have large hands and those tiny mice just don't work well for me despite the features, reliability, etc. Thank you.
@sarisin: Its a regular sized mouse
@sarisin: It's a mobile mouse (Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000). 2.39" x 3.84"
What model is this? We have detailed specs but no model #?
@eq5150: It's a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000.
Does it work on Apple products???
@missellienc: That is the size of a regular sized mouse. My microsoft basic mouse (on my desk now) is 4x2.5 so its just a little smaller. Its not a micro mouse.
@darkzrobe: Exactly, you are correct. It's not the "Compact" Microsoft mouse, which is smaller. However, this mouse is smaller than the Comfort 6000 or Explorer Touch, which is similar to the one I use on my desktop. Someone with large hands may prefer a bigger mouse. I guess this model could actually be called a mid-sized mouse. If it wasn't purple, I would buy another one!
