I changed the title like 15 times :D.. it started out with "2.5 SATA III Drive 530 series" and that just seemed like too many letters and numbers jumbled together..

So just to clarify this is a 7mm, MLC, SATA III drive.. couldn't find a decent description, so if anybody has anything else to add it'd be appreciated.

Plus tax where applicable, but no rebate hassles. Good find.

@repero: That is even a better deal than the one advertised here......I am just wondering why the resellers kit is much more expensive than the bare drive......I guess we will find out when it arrives...

Yea, this is a great deal on the 240 for this fast of a drive. Upgrading an old 128 that runs less than half the speed. It's good to update these every few years anyway because they do have a limited lifetime.

@dgiambo1: ...and the good news is that every couple of years you can upgrade to the latest SSD and double your storage for what you paid last time. My MacBook Pro was upgraded from a 750gb HD to a 120gb SSD (and the HD with the optical drive removed) about three years ago. Last year I upgraded the 120 to a 256gb. A few days ago I ordered a 750gb. In a year or two I imagine I'll be upgrading that to a 1.5tb SSD :)

Awesome! Going to best buy to redeem some earned points for amazon gift cards to get the 240 gb for $70! Thanks Wooters!

Deal is dead. 240 for 134.99 is active though

@chcbearsfan: Some of these deals have been known to last a few days, but the majority are over in 24 hours, sometimes less, depending on when you look at the notification. Usually, it is a good idea to jump when you first see it. I have lost out on more than a few because I hesitated...

@red13red26: Are they? I still see the 240 for $140 (okay, so it is five bucks more than it was earlier, but still a good deal)
