@tewkewl: I got one that I will be permanently attaching to my car.
With it I will be keeping my phone in my pocket and have it connect to the LiveView and my car BT Speakerphone.

Right now my biggest problem is I keep forgeting my phone in the car in the cradle. This will solve that. I will be able to make calls, Look at text, Make draft Text for "Be in the office 15 min late" etc... all while keeping my phone in my pocket.

This seems like a good explanation. And the video shows it in use.

Although I initially thought it was a useless accessory, I guess I can see the point now. Some gadget geeks may love it. Though I'm one of those geeks, I'm still going to pass on it, because I'd probably lose it in a week.

Anyone else still waiting on a shipping confirmation email? Item has been listed as "ready to ship" for two days now with no email, and the email address they provide on their website to contact them doesnt actually exist, gives a "Bad destination mailbox address" error.

Does anybody have a cached copy of this webpage?? The page is taken down and I want to double check the compatability list they provided. I could have sworn I read that the Xoom was compatible, but when I check Sony's site, it is not listed as compatible.

Did I just get ripped off or what??

@imitator: They probably just didn't get a chance to ship yours on Friday and are closed on the weekends. I received mine on Friday, so I was really surprised!

I got mine on Friday. In the box was a plug adapter since this is the EU version, however, I couldn't get the adapter to work. Luckily my Samsung Galaxy S phone's USB power adapter worked with the LiveView thingie.

Have only played with it a little but am regretting this purchase so far. Freezes my phone all the time. :-(

Update - Spoke with CS today, they informed me that they had two shipments of the item and the second shipment is arriving within the next day or so and the remaining orders such as mine will be filed at that point. That would explain why we had some items in hand while others were still showing as unshipped. Ill update again once I have item in hand or a shipping notification at the least.

I called them and also emailed them using another email they had on their website info@expansys-usa.com because the orderstat email kept bouncing back with errors. Both the CSR and the email replies gave me the same response you got (as early as today or tomorrow).

Got mine monday, works great with my Razr. Just a note on plugins. Dont use the built in ones. Best one by far is CustomNotifier. After you install, you can choose any app on your phone to intercept the notifications for. This should also help battery life, i havent charged mine for monday and i wear it all day.

My order still shows "Ready to Ship". I emailed them again today and was told that a shipment is coming in today and it should go out today. We'll see... this is the 2nd response with the same answer. Anyone else still showing not shipped yet?
