Brazil (Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray] for $19.99
In the dystopic masterpiece Brazil, Jonathan Pryce (Glengarry Glen Ross) plays a daydreaming everyman who finds himself caught in the soul-crushing gears of a nightmarish bureaucracy. This cautionary tale by Terry Gilliam (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), one of the great films of the 1980s, now ranks alongside antitotalitarian works by the likes of George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, and Kurt Vonnegut Jr. And in terms of set design, cinematography, music, and effects, Brazil, a nonstop dazzler, stands alone.
DeNiro plays a fabulous different sort of role for him.
Great flick !
One of my favorite movies! This is essentially the same as the old 3-disc Criterion DVD set, just with the movie in 1080p / DTS-HD Master Audio. The two bonus DVDs are also now squeezed onto one Blu-Ray.
Also, there are more titles in the sale, like "The Game", "Rashomon" and "Rosemary's Baby".

Another difference is that I paid $42 for the DVD set thirteen years (and sixteen days) ago, and this is less than half that price (Amazon.com's purchase history makes it easy to check this stuff).
