Still a good deal for everyone who missed them on the Woot-Off, including me.
These are not alkaline, am i right?
After my first experience with DailySteals, I wouldn't trust them. I ordered a "SanDisk 16GB Class 4 MicroSDHC Card" but what they shipped me (in a plain white letter envelope with no packaging) was a generic card that barely tested over Class 2.
Buyer beware: http://youtu.be/RvkKfu-X6ME?hd=1
They are not alkaline, and not really god for anything except basic (no LCD screens or lights) TV remotes and a few low-drain toys. They hold little power and will leak if left for too long in a device.
Buyers beware of Daily Steals. They are known for sending out defect products, products not as described, ridiculous 3 weeks minimum shipping, and zero customer service for you to contact for a refund. Watch these reviews by two of hundreds of unsatisfied customers:

I have never seen a company with a lower customer satisfaction rating than Daily Steals.
@the tim: I just got mine today too, just the little generic card in a white envelope, and it is SLOW. At some points it was transferring data in KB's! But for what it's worth it was a pretty cheap price. I have dealt with them on multiple occasions, and while most of the time they are legit - they like to leave a whole lot of information out of their product listings.
@danbooke2001: that's what Dailysteals is expecting you to do, to just forget about it. You can get your money back by calling your credit card company and complain item not as described. It's important that crooks like this company don't get away with such things. I and many others have encountered too many bad experiences with this company. The prices may be "good" but not worth the hassle after you get your item (IF you get it, that is)
FYI these are NOT alkaline batteries.
These are not a good deal, even at this price, even if Daily Steals was a company with a stellar reputation for service. AVOID.
These batteries are absolutely terrible, and they lose power very quickly even if you aren't using them.
They're bad all around because they degrade quickly in low drain things (think remotes- battery will die without you touching it much faster than an alkaline battery would) and in more demanding appliances (think electronics with lcd screen, digital cameras, etc) they lose their voltage much too quickly to be of any use.
i just got my sf card today also, its in my phone now but I have yet to test it out
I am very grateful to everyone who took the time and effort to write a comment. I will not waste my money. User feedback is what makes the internet a safer place to buy stuff. Again, thank you!
I learned my lesson with them on the cheap knock off beats headphones also, Im shocked to see WOOT giving a sposored link. Woot is great, and shouldnt get tied into them
First thing that came to mind was Extra Long Life of these = normal life of good batteries. If you got some cheap toys or something you need batteries for sure they are ok but other then that I would avoid as well.
I do not recommend these batteries. I bought them from Woot a month or so ago knowing they weren't alkaline and we have burned through them much faster than I thought we would. I regret buying them. :(
Don't buy these. Either dead right out of the package or only lasts a day, even in a low drain device. Don't waste your money.
Maybe Im one of the lucky ones but I have ordered alot of stuff from Daily Steals including a laptop and have been pretty satisfied. Shipping is slow but not as slow as Woot.
It looks like comments have already been made, but I will add my disappointment about these batteries. They are very weak; maybe 1/4 the life of a Duracell. For example, I bought them for the kids to use in the Wii Remotes, and they last barely 6 hours, whereas Duracell or even Ray-O-Vac will last over 20 hours of gameplay.
I'm adding myself to the list of people who think these batteries are awful. Purchased them from Woot and am very disappointed with them. They are the weakest batteries I have ever used in my life. They'll make it through maybe 5 pictures on my digital camera. Don't buy them.
DO NOT BUY FROM DAILYSTEAL. THEY SUCK!!!! I purchased a sewing kit for my wife and the site messed up. they ended up charging me twice and sending me two kits (when i only wanted 1) and when i tried to fixed it they said they could do anything about it, and to sell the extra to someone..... so again i say THEY SUCK!!!
@bradgeurin: I agree with you on this one woot = sweetness, dailysteals = crap
Get these if you like leaky battery jizz all over the inside of the battery compartment of your remote.
Cool stories bro's, but have all of you (United Statesians) here contacted their Rep or Senator about SOPA yet? Do it.
Also, yeah, these batteries suck hard.
@the tim: I had the same issue, i got mine today in a plain envelope and the card was some chineese made. I dropped a mail to customer contact but not at all expecting any reply. I had bought a lot of things out there but this was not what i expected from them.
@kravivarma: I emailed them as well, demanding either a refund or that they ship me the product I actually paid for. If I get no response, I'll just issue a chargeback through my credit card.
i get to the final order page and click get it now... and it keeps telling me to enter my email so i do, then i click it again and it says phone number required, put that in, and it brings me back to the same page with the phone number entry blank.... i give up. and apparently its not even worth it so daily steals lost a sale with me.
I have got 3 products from daily steals with no problems. (2 cheap gag gifts, 1 logitech surround sound which i have had no problems with for over half a year)
I don't even have to read the comments to make the assumption: if this deal isn't dead already like every other battery deal usually is by now, it's clearly not worth buying. Not in!
I am the other person who had no trouble at all with DailySteals the two times I ordered from them. Sucks to hear that not everyone has been so lucky. It seems like just about all of the products on these daily deals sites turn up eventually on Woot, so if you see something that you just have to have, it might be worth waiting to see if it turns up on Woot. But if you want it without having to wait, for a little more money and a little extra frustration...
these batteries are terrible. they run out of juice like there is no tomorrow. dont buy them.
damn i got an email from daily steals last night and bought these becuase i needed some new ones for my 360 remotes... wish i would have looked on here first!
These are some of the worst batteries I've ever used. I have thrown them into a closet so I can just wrap them up with kids toys presents, just in case the kids parents have no batteries. Normal Kids toys with motors, will just not function at all. About half of these batteries are doa. Steer clear. Big mistake.
They were on Woot and I had done my research, knowing well off that they were not good on life time. However, for the price of batteries today, I think it is well worth it. They may not be for your camera. But use them in any low power device. Ive been VERY slowly using my AAA in headphones and they last just as long as any other battery that I have used.
a real bargain! Get it !
A note to anyone having problems:
As I mentioned previously, I have a direct contact at DailySteals. I am sure that they would be glad to take care of any issues you may have had. If you would like to do so, let me know and I will make sure you are taken care of.
Save your money. These batteries doesn't last long. Get Kirkland batteries instead. Do not buy Fuji batteries.........
