Probably doesn't need to be said, but this is a pattern weld, not Damascus steel. High quality pattern welds can be really expensive.... so my guess is this isn't too high quality.

I ordered one when they were on Woot last time. It took a few days short of 2 months for delivery. The handle is too short for a reasonable grip and the quality in general is lacking. I don't know much about the blade itself but it is sharp... The leather sheath is of similarly poor quality. Mine came with a cut that was obviously a mistake by the leatherworker but they used the piece anyway.

I also got this deal the last time it was on woot which was about 2 months ago and just got a week ago. I would like to 2nd novastarj and dostillevi. The design appears to be an etching in the blade. It didnt come sharp and sharpening it will remove the design. Not all bad though, it has a nice weight to it and is still a fun a little knife for 20$. NOTE: This deal last time was woot is was through knife.co which the same company

@mybestuser1: This reminds me actually my debit card was stolen about a week after my purchase from this site. I have nothing to substantiate that it was this site since I buy from random websites all the time but I wonder if anyone else had this same issue also?

Consider yourself warned. Don't buy this nor any other 'damascus' custom' knife. This junk is worse than the local swap meet. Drunk one night I ordered a similar one from Eb. 3 weeks later it arrives. Heavy, misaligned 4mm thick scrap metal shaped to look like a chef knife. I kept it to chop firewood and show culinary school students, friends and family the difference between a real damascus blade and this. Altho it does make a good paper weight.
Edit: Usually these are made in Pakistan, shipped to NY, then sold online to suckers. (like me)

Not a good knife, even for $20. Took about 2 months to arrive. Sheath is blah. It looks okay at first, then you notice the details... or lack of. Mine was dull, another was pretty sharp. Name is stamped on.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
Ordered a set of these and seller waited over 20 days to ship even though the website says "In stock next business day ship." After numerous emails, seller only shipped after escalating a claim with paypal - clearly a deadbeat seller - CAVEAT EMPTOR!!.

JUNK. This knife is junk and the website is a scam.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!
Spread the word.
Note: Ebay is littered with these so called "damascus....custom made" description. They all are the same. Same knife, seller, etc. ITS A SCAM.
Research it yourself. Tags- custom knife, sporting goods, damascus, Pakistan, New York, hand made.

I ordered one. Arrived quickly. Nicer than knife than I expected. I'm not sure what all the trash talk is about but I had no issues, no stolen credit card, fast delivery and a very nice looking (albeit smaller than I expected) knife. Wish I has ordered 2.
