@g89s--ihanks
Just be warned the casing on these is pretty cheap. I know some USB ports can be snug, but it took no time at all for the glue to break on mine and it slipped right out of the casing. Very annoying.
@z89s: dont see any "special offers"...where should I look on the amazon page?
These are great for the car stereo.
To get the special offer do a search using the SKU # B0019447JQ and just add to cart
@z89s: It looks like I'm getting charged nearly $4 to ship the "Free" item. Has that been anyone elses experience?
@offline999 yes, same problem... even though I added both items using the "add both" button under special offers, the "free" item isn't properly showing as free, and also not eligible for FSSS
I did as everyone suggested and placed my order accordingly. At the very last step of my order, nothing was deducted for the "Free BlueProton". What am I doing wrong here?
i purchased this item from another veder. while i am very happy with the storage capacity and speed, I am not so happy that the cap falls off all the time. when it was new the cap fit tight, however after very short use it became lose and would fall off, the other end as well got lose and i had to poxy it in to the case to stay.
I had to jump through hoops to get the "deal" with the freebie. Even Amazon chat was no help. What I had to do was see all vendors for the 32GB stick and buy it from Blue Proton and NOT fulfilled by Amazon. Then I added the "free" adapter which you end up paying shipping on. It gave me the deal at checkout. But I figure I paid about $5 for the adapter over just purchasing the 32GB stick alone.
@jarjarchared: same thing happen to me, and now i cant find it.
Has anyone tried these for a Nintendo Wii or Playstation 2 to see if they're recognized by homebrew?
Shipping for just he USB drive is $8?! Add the "Special Offer" and it goes to $11.97.
Looks like the retailer is trying to make a bit of profit from the shipping.
Pass.
This offer is more expensive since it is going through "fulfillment by Amazon".
Look here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0052WT1OC/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
Same retailer has it for sale directly for $20.48 including shipping.
@datahaunt: thanks just bought the last one. Ended up only paying $1.33 for shipping after using my amazon reward points. Total $15.62 can't beat that at all.
@jarjarchared: I had the same thing happen, tried to remove it from the USB port and the plastic case came off in my hand. Nothing a little crazy glue didn't fix. Now the cap is pretty loose, it will only stay on in one direction. It's only a matter of time till that gets lost I suppose. The worry for me now is misplacing the drive. It's nice and small which is great but it's so small it easy to forget where you put it.
@jarjarchared: Important safety tip. Thank Egon.
