It appears that it is now $39.99...
Shows as $39.99 to me too.
Not a great deal even at 17. If you look hard enough you can find storage 75c or even 5c on the dollar.
@djbowman: you mean to say on the GB I think.
@djbowman: In class 6, sd cards? Please lead the way!
Finding a 16gb class 6 SDHC card is a very good deal if shipping was free. I wish it was real. It said 39.99 for me to. Oh well, i found some 8gb for the same price on ecost earlier today. Not as good of a deal but i may do that instead.
Class 6 cards are not as cheap as the 'average' card. They are faster for cameras that need to write more data - especially those that capture HD video. I wish this was the actual price, I would have grabbed one in a heartbeat. I just bought an 8 GB class 10 on sale for $50 last week. Even $39.99 isn't too bad of a deal.
The best price I found for a C6 16GB card recently was $33 at newegg, free shipping. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211245
I haven't seen anything even near sub-$20, but I'd sure like to.
Fraud, that's what this is...
Too good to be true! Aaack!
Appears as $39.99 on ebay....
Caveat Emptor!!! There have been a SLEW of bogus digital media scams on eBay of late - I'm NOT saying this is one of them - but if it sounds too good to be true (even for Woot!) then it probably is.
A friend of mine just bought eight 128GB devices - and they were all 4GB cards with convincing stickers on them.
While it wasn't recent, I myself was scammed on an 8GB CF card that was merely a 1GB card re-labeled - and the labels were nearly undetectable as fakes.
I might get blasted for making the generalization - but I'd not buy anything from a seller in China...... But it's your cash....
With regards to the fake cards, I bought one from Canada, and it turned out to be fake. It was 32gb, but it wasn't class 6 nor kingston. Just avoid the cheap kingston cards that are so prevalent.
Also, I checked all my recent eBay Daily Deal e-mails and this wasn't in any of them.
IS THERE A COUPON CODE?
I've had two of these cards fail on me. It's not worth risking hours worth of filming, or thousands of photographs. I've been using Sandisk ever since, and haven't had a problem yet.
delete this POS from the list. what a bogus post!
This is not the first time I've come Ebay after finding a great deal here and found that it's a sale at the PRESENT big amount, and not a fixed price. If that's the case, then it should tell us "the earlier, the better price", not just the fixed price that was listed hours ago.
They need a way to bury crap like this...
Ebay shows $39 what a scame, woot should know better and check out what they are permoting.
